Sharing the Top 10 blog posts of 2021 from Life On Virginia Street!
At the end of each year, I love taking a trip down memory lane to explore everything we accomplished both personally and professionally. With that, I always research which blog posts from the year were most popular. It not only helps with planning future content, but I always find this post each year to be so interesting, seeing what type of content you loved the most! It’s also interesting to see how much Pinterest or Google users can sway the results. With that, today I’m sharing my top 10 blog posts of 2021!
Prior Top 10 Blog Posts
It’s hard to believe, but January marks fourteen years of me blogging! Needless to say, I have created a lot of content over the years! This past year in particular, I created 15-20 posts per month, which makes for a lot of content to read! So, I always finds it helpful to recap my most read posts of the year! If you’re newer here, this is a great way to see some of my top projects and posts from over the years. And if you’re a long-time reader, you may enjoy seeing some of these posts again!
If you’re interested in my prior Top 10 Posts, I’ve included those below as well!

- Top 10 Posts of 2018
- Top 10 Posts of 2017
- Top 10 Posts of 2016
- Top 10 Posts of 2015
- Top 10 Posts of 2014
- Top 10 Posts of 2013
Many of the posts in those lists also made it into my top for 2021, but for today’s post, I’m only including blog posts that were actually published in 2021 – not just read or visited this year.
This post contains affiliate links for your shopping convenience. You can read my full disclosure policy here.
Posts published later in the year always have a disadvantage because they don’t have as much time to “marinate” on sites like Google and Pinterest. So, I’m always excited to see posts published later in the year that can still hold their own with posts from earlier in the year! But, this year, some of the numbers were so dang close that I wanted to point out a few posts that almost made the list, but are absolutely worth mentioning. Honorable mentions go out to my posts on: The Best Black Paint Colors, Traditional Coastal Coffee Tables, Garage Makeover Reveal: Part I, 2021 Christmas Home Tour, Small Guest Bathroom Remodel Reveal, and The Tudor House Renovation Reveal!
Now, let’s dig into the ten post popular posts on my site from 2021!
