Welcome to our 2024 Christmas home tour! My mom and I spent the week of Halloween decorating and it’s taken me since then to add finishing touches, clean up the mess, and finally get it photographed 😉 But I’m excited to share this year’s tour with you today! And a huge thank you to my mom, because without her, I’d be lucky if the trees were even up and decorated yet!

If you saw my post with my 2024 Christmas design boards, you saw most of my plans for our holiday decor this year. But, I made a few swaps and changes along the way, so let’s get to the tour!
Outside, we planted these little rosemary topiaries in our footed planters, and then my mom added ribbon to them. If you think I love to add ribbons and bows to things, my mom brings it to a whole other level! I’m just hoping I can keep the topiaries alive all winter because I love having fresh rosemary on hand, but also because if they’re bigger, I think they’ll look so cute with flowers and greenery around the base. In the background you can also see our pre-lit faux birch trees that provide the prettiest glow at night.
I kept the porch super simple with a new wreath and plaid doormat. Our front door is pretty far inset, so it doesn’t get seen as much from the street. Anything I add tends to be a bug and frog collector, so I prefer simplicity!
CHRISTMAS FRONT PORCH SOURCES: Christmas Wreath | Plaid Outdoor Rug (also here) | Jute Rug | Copper Gas Lanterns | Pre-Lit Faux Birch Trees | Rocking Chairs | Stewart Plaid Throw Blanket | Striped Outdoor Pillows | Footed Planters | Velvet Ribbon | House Color: Sherwin Williams Greek Villa | Door Color: Sherwin Williams Niebla Azul
Moving inside, our entryway and staircase is one of my favorite features of our home! So of course it got the full garland bow ribbon treatment! We layered both this Real-Touch Garland and Cedar Garland and they make for the prettiest combination!
I’m not sure I’ve shared this next view before! Can you believe our Moravian Star Chandelier is 4′ x 4.5′ in size? It’s massive, but looks almost tiny from the ground (I think it’s hung from about 25 feet in the air)! But it feels even more special during the holiday months and I still love it so much. Thank heavens for builder lighting allowances and fixtures at cost!
CHRISTMAS ENTRYWAY SOURCES: Moravian Star Chandelier | Real-Touch Garland | Cedar Garland | Plaid Ribbon | Blue Satin Ribbon | Thin Red Velvet Ribbon | Console Table | Wicker Christmas Trees (look for less here, here & here) | Stewart Plaid Picture Frames | Lamp | Similar Mini Christmas Tree | Red Velvet Ribbon
As you walk down the hallway from the entryway, you enter our kitchen and see the living room in the background.
I always love a wreath on the range hood or cabinet doors during the holidays, especially on white cabinetry! Last year, this wreath in the kitchen was the hardest item for me to put away because I loved the color it added to the space.
I don’t love a lot of clutter on our kitchen countertops, so we’re trying to contain all the essentials and items used daily on this walnut cutting board. So I also tried to contain all of my countertop decor there, as well. A few extra ornaments, jingle bells, and a strand of fairy lights made for an easy, but festive, update!
I mentioned this in my design board post, but I was thrilled when Pottery Barn brought these plaid rugs back this year! They also now offer a red and green version (and they all come in multiple sizes). I bought the red initially but it looked a bit more maroon that red in here, so I returned it for the white and love it so much!
I like that it all still looks clean but festive!
I am super impressed with this flameless candle set! I’ll try to do a demo on my Instagram Stories later today, but they have a remote with tons of settings (including the option to make the light solid or flicker), timers, and dimming option. The full set was less than what I paid for one of my small PB ones last year! These are on the smaller side, but work perfectly in so many areas – and come in several color options. I took this next image at dusk so you can see the warm glow they create.
CHRISTMAS KITCHEN SOURCES: Woven Chandeliers (look for less options here) | Wreath | Faucet | Pot Filler | Salt & Pepper Mills | Similar Wood Recipe Stand | “Very Merry Cocktails” Book | Plaid Tea Towels | Walnut Cutting Board | Utensil Holder | Hand Soap | Ornaments | Stewart Plaid Rug | Swivel Counter Stools | Cabinet Knobs | Cabinet Bin Pulls | Raffia & Seagrass Tray | Vase | Faux Greenery | Lit Birch Stems | Berry Stems | Flameless Candle Set | Silver Tray | Wall & Trim Color: Sherwin Williams Snowbound
Moving into our living room, we injected a lot of red through the Stewart plaid patterns and all the Christmas ornaments!
I actually ordered some really cute art for the Frame TV, and for the life of me cannot get it to upload. Any tips appreciated! It worked fine when I tried in February, and now neither Kurtis nor I can get the upload button to work on the app. I refuse to pay for their art library any longer, so picture me doing a preview, hurrying to take a few photos, and then having to reset the preview every 20 seconds. Super fun! Ha!
I typically go for much larger arrangements on our coffee table, but with the addition of the Christmas tree, this Faux Juniper & Berry Bundle (I have two here) worked much better for not obscuring the view!
I love this jingle bell vase filler so much for Christmas! I left the bowl filled with seaglass that was already there and then just did a layer on top of the bells so I didn’t need as many. I’m using the small footed bowl here, which is still rather large. At night they help reflect the glow from the Christmas tree so well!
I love, love, love these plaid pillow covers (they’re so soft and the colors are perfection), but fair warning, they do shed a bit at first. I found if I tried to combat that initially (just rubbing my hand over it to collect excess fuzz), it helped significantly!
And here’s the view from the living room looking back into the kitchen!
CHRISTMAS LIVING ROOM SOURCES: Woven Shades (Bonaire Flaxen) | Sofas (read my full review here) | Chairs | Coffee Table | Indoor/Outdoor Striped Rug | Frame TV | Frame TV Art | Plaid Ribbon | Linen Pillow Covers | Plaid Pillow Covers | Striped Pillow Covers | Plaid & Faux Fur Throw Blanket | Raffia & Seagrass Coffee Table Tray | Silver Vase | Faux Juniper & Berry Bundle | Small Footed Bowl | Jingle Bell Vase Filler | Red Ornaments | “Ralph Lauren” Coffee Table Book | “Ralph Lauren: A Way of Living” Coffee Table Book “ | Lamps | Sofa Table | Christmas Tree | Wrapping Paper Set | Wreaths | Blue Ornaments | Large Red Ornaments | Silver Jingle Bell Ornaments
When my mom was here, Kurtis asked if we could add a tiny bit of Christmas to his office. At the time we were struggling to find a large enough surface (that the cats wouldn’t mess with) for the nativity scene. Turns out he had the perfect spot in his office and he loves it here!
If you’ve followed me for a while, my mom was gifted a piece from this set each year for her birthday from one of our dear family friends, until she had the full set. Growing up, I loved it so much. So about six or seven years ago, I started to collect a piece a year so we could have our own! To this day, I still love this set so much!
OFFICE NATIVITY SOURCES: Creche | Nativity Scene (larger set here) | Three Wisemen | Metal Star Backdrop | Carved Cypress Trees | Faux Spruce & Pine Cone Stems | String of Fairy Lights | Office Cabinets | Woven Chandelier | Arched Mirror: Old from Target
Moving into the dining room, it’s not 100% finished yet because I was still using it to store the totes with the remaining Christmas items I was using. I’m also likely swapping out the chairs for the ones in our carriage house shortly, so I’ll share an update when that time comes!
I also have three of these prelit Christmas trees in the opposite corner that come on at night on timers. They’re just on the side that can’t currently be shown 😉
Is the bow wine bottle topper not the cutest thing?! It’s a perfect, simple gift idea paired with a favorite bottle of wine or bubbles!
CHRISTMAS DINING ROOM SOURCES: Dining Chairs | Dining Table | Rug | Chandelier | Abstract Art | Wreath | Wave Placemats | Stewart Plaid Napkins | Similar Faux Cedar Napkin Rings (Set of 4) | Greenery: Mix of old PB, these Juniper & Berry Branches, and these Lighted Twig Branches in brown | Vase | Wine Bottle Bow Collar | Silver Serving Set | Paint Color: Benjamin Moore Smoke
Moving around the corner, I don’t typically decorate our shared laundry/pantry space. But I’m so happy we did this year! We hung these old mini wreaths from Target on all of the upper doors other than the inset ones, so there’s a total of four doors with wreaths.
I always try to hide our lint box, so a vase with old greenery and these look for less rattan Christmas trees did the trick. And it makes laundry seem so much happier in here now!
On the opposite side of the room is our coffee and bar area. We leave the machines and bottles out full time so I wanted to give them a little holiday cheer! While they’re difficult to see in photos, this strand of fairy lights looks so cute intertwined in the bottles. They make the glass look that much more sparkly and is a fun touch for parties!
CHRISTMAS LAUNDRY ROOM & PANTRY SOURCES: Plaid Tea Towels | Similar Mini Wreaths | Plaid Ribbon | Rattan Sconce | Vase | Winter Greens: Old from Pottery Barn | Large Wicker Christmas Trees (Small & Medium versions also) | Woven Tray | Gold Cabinet Knobs | Silver Bar Tray | Wine Bottle Bow Collar | String of Fairy Lights | Similar Faux Cedar Stems | Wicker Wine Coaster: Old from Serena & Lily (full size here) | Plaid Decanter | Wood Ring Decanter | Seashell Bottle Opener: Old from Amanda Lindroth | Cabinet Color is stock (Aero Blue) but similar to Benjamin Moore Santorini Blue
I had planned to hang a wreath from the mirror in our powder bath, but most I tried covered too much of the mirror to make it all that functional. So, I simply tied a few leftover greenery stems in alternating directions with a ribbon and made a little swag. A few swaps of towels, and it was then probably the easiest room to update!
CHRISTMAS POWDER BATH SOURCES: Oceana Wallpaper | Rattan Vanity Light | Cane Mirror (similar here) | Vanity | Faucet | Hand Soap | Seagrass Waste Basket | Plaid Hand Towel | Merry Hand Towel
With the arrival of my new office rug last week (which also meant emptying most of the space ahead of time), it all needs some work. But I added a wreath to this cabinet, and hung this art on the wall in the holes from last year, and called it a day! At least I have one spot a bit organized – even if my picture frames are still empty. Ha! I’ll share more on this space once it’s put back together.
OFFICE CHRISTMAS SOURCES: Blue Porcelain Lamp | Console Table | Woven Basket | Rug | “Comfort & Joy” Art | Mixed Greens Wreath | Plaid Ribbon | Blue Satin Ribbon | Thin Red Velvet Ribbon | Silver Plated Frames
Moving upstairs, here’s a peek at the garland on the upper banister as you head into the loft.
Based upon my initial selection of a very colorful rug for this space, I had to embrace all the color for the holidays this year.
I’m still so excited about this photo ledge wall and all the decorating possibilities I see down the road! For Christmas, I removed one of our gallery frames, and then added in this ‘O Holy Night’ canvas art and a wreath.
My parents gifted me this canvas about twelve years ago when we moved from our Virginia Street house to our last home in Omaha. I had loved it for some time, and it still brings me so much joy! It’s one of the few oversized pieces of art that made the trek from Omaha to Florida with us. Talk about a trip down memory lane!
My friend Rachel has never seen “The Holiday” (I’m still not sure how we’re still friends 😉 ) so she and I have a date night planned here later this week to watch. I can’t wait to share the single greatest film of all time with her!
Since we don’t currently have a mantel, we’ve hung our stocking on the media cabinet the last two years and it has worked great! We’ve had the plaid ones for years, but recently added these quilted plaid bow stockings and really love them!
A few more details from the space, including a close-up of these cute Pave Bow Ribbon Ornaments (mine are the champagne color).
CHRISTMAS LOFT SOURCES: Woven Shades (Bonaire Flaxen) | Rattan Cabinet | Frame TV | Quilted Bow Stockings | Stewart Plaid Stockings | Oversized Clamshell | Red Ornaments | Sectional | Striped Ottoman | Chunky Knit Throw Pillow Covers | Velvet Throw Pillow Covers | Stewart Plaid Faux Fur Blanket | Similar Rug | Star Chandelier | Lamps | Console Table | Baskets | Buffalo Check Throw Blankets | Vase | Faux Greenery | Woven Tray | Christmas Tree | Block Print Christmas Tree Skirt | Blue Velvet Ribbon | Red Velvet Ribbon |Flocked Blue Ornaments | Pave Bow Ribbon Ornaments | Photo Gallery Ledge Shelves | Gallery Frames | ‘O Holy Night’ Canvas Art | Real-Touch Pine Wreath
Is there anything more classic than plaid Christmas bedding? I love it so much! As most of you know, I decorate with red sparingly, but it’s always so perfect when the holidays roll around – especially when it comes to plaid.
I was worried all the light blue in our home would be difficult to decorate around for the holidays, but it actually works out so well!
I added this $17 Walmart wreath to the long mirror in our bedroom with some additional bows my mom had tied. It’s a great wreath for the price! It’s rather substantial and has a good mix of different greenery types.
CHRISTMAS BEDROOM SOURCES: Upholstered Bed (look-for-less option here) | Nightstands | Chandelier | Rug | Real-Touch Wreath | Red Velvet Ribbon | Striped Sheets | Stewart Plaid Duvet Cover & Euro Shams | Velvet Throw Pillow Covers | Waffle Knit Blanket | Lamps | Vase | Faux Norfolk Pine Stems | Coral Style Mirror | Mixed Greens Wreath | Plaid Ribbon | Blue Satin Ribbon | Thin Red Velvet Ribbon | Bench
Moving into the adjoining bathroom, this view looking back to the bedroom is my favorite with the hint of wallpaper and the plaid!
I still can’t get over these stripes!
CHRISTMAS BATHROOM SOURCES: Scalloped Mirror | Sconces | Faux Soft Cedar Wreath | Velvet Ribbon | Cabinet Knobs | Hand Soap | Faux Evergreen & Berry Bundle | Vase | Scalloped Tray | Striped Wallpaper | Scalloped Bath Mat | Plaid Hand Towels | Paint Sample: Benjamin Moore Santorini Blue
The last stop on today’s tour is our guest bedroom. The decor is the simplest in here, but I still wanted to add a few festive touches to the space.
I’m still a huge fan of using leftover ornaments in bowls, oversized shells, or trays around your house. It’s so easy, and looks so festive! And these are the third type of faux evergreen stems I shared in this post! I have all twelve in this large vase.
I hung another real-touch wreath over the bed and then added this cozy plaid blanket to the existing bedding and called it a day!
I’d still argue the little bathroom is by far the best part of this room now that it’s wallpapered! I didn’t add any holiday decor here this year but I still love it all!
Simple, yet festive!
CHRISTMAS GUEST BEDROOM SOURCES: Bed | Wreath | Similar Nightstand | Lamp | Rug | Wicker Chandelier | Plaid Throw Blanket | Duvet Cover Set | Velvet Pillow Covers | Dresser | Faux Evergreen Stems | Vase | Large Footed Bowl | Red Ornaments | Palm Wallpaper
That wraps up the tour! I had intentions of sharing our outdoor living and dining spaces, but those will have to wait for a later date. I hope you enjoyed this year’s Christmas home tour!

Your home looks beautiful – I love the red with the light blue! I have had similar issues with the Frame TV. I usually have to delete the TV from the app and re-add it.
