My mom is flying into town today from Utah to help me start decorating for Christmas! I know it’s a bit early but this week worked well with both of our schedules and I’m actually excited to get things wrapped up early this year! With that, and before the red and tartan plaids take over, I wanted to share our 2024 fall home tour with you today!

Our 2024 Fall Home Tour
Admittedly, I tend to struggle with decorating for fall. When we lived in Omaha, it always meant the end of pool season and the quickly approaching winter months. Now that we live in Florida, we’re just barely starting to see fall temps in late October. Sometimes it seems like a lot of energy to decorate for fall, when I really would rather just skip to Christmas 😉
But, there is something so cozy and home-y feeling in the fall months when I tend to gravitate to more neutral tones, the nights get dark sooner, we bring in our fall throws, and occasionally run the fireplace in the evenings. So, while I have a hard time getting excited to decorate for fall, I always enjoy it once I do.
Welcome to our 2024 fall home tour! I recently shared some fall front porch ideas and shared what ours looks like this year. Very simple but the brown tones definitely bring the fall vibes! I opted out of buying pumpkins this year so am enjoying the cleaner look.
OUR FALL FRONT PORCH SOURCES: Wreath | Striped Rug | Jute Rug | Planter | Copper Gas Lanterns | House Color: Sherwin Williams Greek Villa | Door Color: Sherwin Williams Niebla Azul
Moving in the front door, our entryway was the first spot I decorated for fall this year.
These navy blue and brown glass pumpkins were the perfect fall touch for this spot. Since the evenings are getting dark so much earlier now (and will even more so after this weekend), I have this seagrass lamp on a timer to create a warm glow in the entryway. I love using lamps rather than overhead lighting this time of year!
With the rest of the space being so white (and tall) I’m kind of loving the chaos of these massive oak stems (I only have two here because they’re so substantial).
FALL ENTRYWAY SOURCES: Faux Oak Leaves | Vase | Console Table | Navy Blue Glass Pumpkin | Tall Brown Glass Pumpkin | Large Brown Glass Pumpkin | Cane Boxes | Lamp (look for less here)
Moving into our kitchen, I like to keep the decor fairly simple with a swap of stems, hand soap and candles. I’ve owned these faux olive branches for several years now and they’re still one of my favorites to use in the fall months! If you’re looking for an amazing candle, I picked up this one at a local boutique a month or two back and it is heavenly!
I’m gradually working on cozying up the area around our range. Slowly getting there, but you’ll see some additional progress once I share my Christmas home tour. There are several items we like readily handy like our salt and pepper grinders, olive oil, etc. so I’m trying to work on corralling them so they don’t look messy!
FALL KITCHEN SOURCES: Striped Runner Rug | Faux Olive Branches | Colorblock Vase | Glass Pumpkin
Woven Chandeliers (look for less options here) | Faucet | Pot Filler | Salt & Pepper Mills | Hand Soap | Rosemary Candle | Swivel Counter Stools | Cabinet Knobs | Cabinet Bin Pulls | Wall & Trim Color: Sherwin Williams Snowbound
Moving into our living room, I carried over many of the throw pillows I used this spring and summer. Then, I simply added in these paisley pillow covers I purchased last year for fall but never got around to using!
FALL LIVING ROOM SOURCES: Woven Shades (Bonaire Flaxen) | Sofas (read my full review here) | Chairs | Coffee Table | Indoor/Outdoor Striped Rug | Linen Pillows (Mineral Blue) | Paisley Pillow Covers | Small Stripe Pillow Covers | Wide Stripe Pillow Covers | Acrylic Drink Tables | Frame TV | Glass Vase | Faux Olive Branches | Similar Dried Grapewood Branch | Oversized Raffia Tray | “Surf Tribe” | “Surf Like A Girl” | Lamps | Sofa Table
After painting our dining room Benjamin Moore Smoke late summer, I’ve decided to lean into the brown accents for fall. I’m really loving the dusty blue paired with brown this year. Such a great combo!
I only half-set the table, but sometimes that’s the way it goes 😉
FALL DINING ROOM SOURCES: Dining Chairs | Dining Table | Rug | Chandelier | Vase | Faux Oak Leaves with Acorns | Marble Lazy Susan | Abstract Art | Scalloped Placemats | Plaid Napkins | Tortoise Glasses | Paint Color: Benjamin Moore Smoke
With the recent addition of this wallpaper to our powder bathroom, I can’t believe how much cozier the space feels! The room is quite small and the 12′ ceilings got somewhat lost, so the wallpaper definitely helps ground the space a bit.
FALL POWDER BATH SOURCES: Oceana Wallpaper | Rattan Vanity Light | Cane Mirror (similar here) | Vanity | Faucet | Faux Floral Arrangement | Hand Soap | Seagrass Waste Basket | Scalloped Hand Towel | Hand Towel Ring | Tank Basket
Moving upstairs, this is probably the trickiest season to decorate around the colorful rug in our loft. But I still love it so much, and figure if I kept the rest of the look fairly neutral, it can still feel a bit fall. By adding in woven textures and neutral fall accents, including updated Frame TV art, it works well enough for now 😉
I took this photo before we hung the picture ledge floating shelves but it helps show how this room previously felt a bit cavernous with the vaulted ceiling.
The addition of the shelves makes me so happy! I added some gallery frames from Omaha we hadn’t hung yet elsewhere. The photos need to be swapped out for more current ones, and ultimately, I’m planning to go for a more stacked/layered look. But I love how this wall has completely changed the look of the loft!
These dried fan palms are the perfect fall addition for a coastal home!
FALL LOFT SOURCES: Woven Shades (Bonaire Flaxen) | Picture Ledge Floating Shelf | Gallery Wall Frames | Sectional | Long Console Table | Bronze Linen Pillow Covers | Reversible Plaid Pillow Covers | Tassel Lumbar Pillows | Plush Pumpkin Pillow | Lamps | Woven Tray Set | Scalloped Wood Bowl | Vase | Dried Fan Palms | Similar Rug | Striped Ottoman Cube | Rattan Cabinet | Oversized Clam Shell | Similar Moss Balls
Since I recently updated our bedroom for summer with this quilt, I tried to make it transition for fall to get more use out of it. I added this extra long gingham lumbar pillow and love how this easy addition changed the look a bit!
I then added in my favorite faux turning oak leaves for some additional fall touches. These branches are massive – I only have one in this large vase and had to bend the stem quite a bit to fit. So a little goes a long way with them!
FALL BEDROOM SOURCES: Upholstered Bed (look-for-less option here) | Nightstands | Chandelier | Rug | Reversible Quilt | Reversible Euro Shams | Gingham Lumbar Pillow | Striped Sheets | Waffle Knit Blanket | Lamps | Vase | Faux Turning Oak Leaves | Camp Stools | Jute Rug
We don’t use the adjoining bathroom to get ready since the technical primary bedroom is my office on the first floor. So, it’s easy to style this one seasonally because it isn’t where we get ready and we don’t need the counter space. But, with the new striped wallpaper, very little is needed in the way of styling! We still love it so much! The cabinets are a stock blue called Aero Blue, but it is very similar to Benjamin Moore’s Santorini Blue.
FALL BATHROOM SOURCES: Scalloped Mirror | Sconces | Cabinet Knobs | Hand Soap | Raffia Tray | Striped Wallpaper | Scalloped Bath Mat | Scalloped Hand Towel | Faux Gingko Stems | Vase
Shortly after adding the palm wallpaper to the guest bathroom, we also gave the guest bedroom a little makeover. We still have some work we’d love to do in here, but at least now there is a little bit of personality in this bedroom!
I love block prints (especially in the fall!) and these pillow covers are such great quality! They come in several colors too if you don’t love blue in the fall months.
I bought this seashell mirror at a consignment shop locally, but was able to find it here as well! It is such a great size and very substantial and heavy.
This little bathroom might currently be my favorite room in our house! I love the palm print paired with the blue vanity and rattan sconce!
FALL GUEST BEDROOM SOURCES: Seashell Mirror | Oak Leaves | Vase | Similar Conch Shell | “Made for Living” | “Travel Home” | “Surf Shack” | Upholstered Bed Frame (similar here) | Sateen Hotel Stripe Duvet Cover | All-Season Down-Alternative Insert | Waffle Knit Blanket | Brushed Organic Cotton Percale Sheets | Block Print Throw Pillow Covers | Scalloped Wicker Chandelier | 4-Drawer Dresser | Palm Wallpaper | Coral Style Mirror | Rattan Sconce
That wraps up this year’s fall home tour!
