My Favorite New Tree Topper

Although I have yet to “officially” decorate the tree in our den yet, I can say for certain, this Capiz Moravian Star Tree Topper is my new favorite. It is stunning in person and rather substantial!

    Will this style springy “brace” work for natural trees as well? I still use real trees and can’t figure out what would work.

      Yes, I think it should! I actually use the spring portion to feed some of the branches through so the same concept would apply on real. I then usually wire it in place too for extra support. I hope that helps!

    Beautiful star toppers! I always have a problem getting the topper on the tree and keeping in it a straight position! They are heavy for the top of tree. How do you get yours to stay correctly? I always check your site first thing in the morning. Great job of keeping us updated!

      Thanks Sylvia! On my faux trees, I usually just been the top leader branch in half to give it more weight and support. I then usually wire it in place with floral wire to be safe 🙂 If it’s a really heavy one, you could actually get a small, long wood dowel to use as a brace and run it from the star down the back part of tree and wire it around the center post. Hopefully that makes sense!

    Lowes has a topper similar to your but it has a clip to hold it on the tree instead of the spring.
