Gibsonlook x Hi Sugarplum Holiday Collections

It’s an exciting day! My friend Cassie has launched an all new “Home For the Holidays” collection with Gibsonlook. Since many of our holiday celebrations may look different this year, they created a collection with a wide variety of styles and dressiness factors. The pieces are so good and I love that so many of them can be mixed and matched for all new looks! And like most of Cassie’s collections, I’m guessing most of these items will sell out quickly and Gibson is not planning to restock at this time.

Cassie and the Gibson team let me pre-select a few of the pieces so I could try them on and give you my fit tips and feedback. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to have them photographed on me now that Kurtis is my temporary photographer, but I’ll plan to show a live look at several of the pieces on my Instagram Stories later today! I’ll also maybe try and take a few quick mirror selfies and add them back into this post later, in case you don’t use Instagram. The good news is, I feel like they’re now so much more consistent on sizing so if you’ve ordered something from any of the recent collections, I would say the fit is very similar!

Before we jump into the new items, here are a few favorites from last year that are back, in stock, on sale, and you can stack my coupon code on top of the sale prices! You can see even more pieces here. I wore my usual size Large in all of them.

This bow back top was a favorite last year! I have it in red, as well, and they’re both so good! They fit true to size and they’re under $25 each right now with my discount code! I’ve worn this black and white one with jeans and black heels several times and the combo couldn’t be cuter! And I think I wore those starburst earrings nearly every day from Thanksgiving to Christmas last year. I love them so much and they’re back in stock this year!

Here is the top from the front it’s an easy one to wear so many different ways. And guess what – the wide leg pants I loved so much are back in a slightly altered version this year for the new collection! This time around, they look a tiny bit of volume out of the leg so they are more wearable! Even at 5’8″ and with heels, they’re still long enough for me! I also love the stretchy waistband in back, which makes them very forgiving! The satin band in front makes them feel extra festive.

The velvet blazer I loved so much (so easy to dress up or down) is also back in stock! It’s more of a shrunken fit, so if you’re between sizes, I’d order up one size. This one’s marked down 40% plus you can stack my code with it, too!

“Home For the Holidays” Collection

Okay so let’s get to the new pieces from the collection! All of the pieces are named for famous streets in London (love that) and it ranges from cozy to fancy and everything in between!

This ruffled v-neck plaid top was one of my favorites I ordered! Could the plaid be any cuter?! The fabric is a really sturdy satin fabric, and although it looks like it is cut low, it’s actually stitched closed for the bottom 1-2 inches where the ruffles meet. I really loved this one, and I may actually order it in the solid pink too. So cute on it’s own, under a blazer, or even with a cardigan! Cassie has them paired here with the new version of the wide leg pants. You can also pair it with this skirt to give the look of a dress!

Here’s the pink version I also want to order. The fit is so beautiful on these and there’s so many different ways to wear them!

Next up is this darling gathered sleeve crewneck pullover. I ordered the exact combo on Cassie below, but there are so many other cute options including solids and other prints (the pink and red is my next favorite)! I love the slightly gathered shoulder and the material is that soft, cozy fabric Gibson is known for! So cute with jeans or dressed up! Cassie has it paired here with the darling mesh swiss dot party skirt.

This sheer puff sleeve knit top is another cute one, and so unique! I love that the bodice is as soft knit (that surprisingly has a nice weight that is pretty forgiving). The sleeves are definitely voluminous but so cute! I also love that the length is a bit longer for us taller gals!

And like I mentioned, the collection even includes items if you plan to stay in and cozy for the holidays! This lounge set is so dang good and I love that it’s ribbed – such a luxe vibe! I have the exact hoodie and jogger combo on Cassie below, but it also comes in black and is designed to mix and match! I actually ordered an XL in the joggers because the samples were out of Large, and I think I’m now going to order in my proper size. I can make the XL work but there’s a lot of extra fabric, and I think it would be a cuter fit in my true size. I also love the joggers paired with this top (I got the black but there are several options). Sometimes it’s nice to have a short sleeve cozy top!

Here’s the gathered top with the black version of the ribbed joggers. I prefer my true size in this one since I plan to wear it casually, but if you’re looking for a more form fitting shape, I’d size down.
