Now that summer essentially arrived this week in Omaha, I figured it was finally time to share my spring home tour! Most of the house has been decorated for months, but between purging and prepping to list our house then having showings, actually taking the photos was placed on the back burner. So, these photos were taken at various times over the past month (some as late as yesterday). As you’ll quickly see, some are a bit more “decorated” whereas others are more in “listing mode”. But, I didn’t want to let another spring go by without a home tour. And since this will be our last spring in this house, I wanted to make sure I covered as many rooms as possible!
So, without further delay, welcome to our 2022 spring home tour!

In our entryway, I didn’t change much, other than adding a few of these Faux Viburnum Stems. I always love viburnum this time of year because it blooms so early, and always reminds me of the forthcoming hydrangeas!
SPRING ENTRYWAY SOURCES:Â Faux Viburnum Stems | Tall Dipped Vase | White Raffia Chest | Indoor/Outdoor Striped Rug | Lantern Light Fixture | ‘It Is Well’ Art
Down our entryway hallway, we removed the bench that was here for years to make the space feel more open for showings. It’s a fun change up for the season and really lets the focus be on the increasing color outside in the courtyard!
A closer look at our console table styling.

Moving further down the hallway into our living room, I made a few more noticeable changes for spring!
I love how this view evolves throughout the seasons as more and more color gets added outside!
I originally ordered this bowl thinking it was a fruit bowl. Ha! There actually is a smaller version, but now I’m loving this one so much for decor – it’s gigantic! I filled it with some moss balls I’ve had for years (these are are a similar size). And during the holidays, I envision it filled with ornaments or other festive finds!
This combination of Linen Pillows and Striped Pillows might be one of my favorite pairings in a while. So simple, but so “me”! The linen pillows are always an investment (I have them in a few colors) but I reach for them again and again, even as the seasons change.
It’s always fun to change the art on our Frame TV with the seasons, as well! My goal this month is to learn how to upload my own art and images, so I can get some of our 30A drone photos on display!

One of the items that delayed my spring home tour was this rug! I believe I ordered it in January, well before I knew we were listing our home. But then it continued to get backordered further and further. When I got a notice that it would arrive last week, I delayed the tour so I could get it in place. We both love how it looks in here!
This vase is from Pottery Barn a year or two back, and I filled it with some spring blooms I found at Target.
Here you can see how the dining room now leads out to the pool house! I’ll circle back on that space at the end of the post.

Our kitchen is another spot in our home that we just left in “listing/showings mode”. But, I haven’t shown it in awhile so I thought I’d share it today. You can see not much has changed in awhile! But we like to keep it fairly clean and clutter-free, regardless of season. I’m thinking I may try and find a fun, colorful runner for summer though!

One room I rarely share is our mudroom. I didn’t style it for spring outside of what was already in there, but we finally had the cabinet doors and drawers painted prior to listing. We’re both kicking ourselves we didn’t have it done sooner. It’s amazing how much better it looks in here now that the doors and drawers aren’t the almond color! Side note: this room is never this clean since it’s the main entrance we use to the house from the garage. Another reason you never see it 😉

Before we head upstairs, here’s a quick peek at how our office currently looks. We pulled the rug and moved our bookshelves to new locations for the showings, so it’s feeling a bit bare. But I’m also glad it’s clean and all the clutter is gone!
SPRING HOME OFFICE SOURCES: Chandelier | Similar Desks | Leather Rolling Chairs | Rattan Cabinet | Abstract Art (#2) | Glass Lamp | Ceramic Cachepot Vases | Faux Greenery
Moving upstairs, let’s first stop in our bedroom! For the first time maybe ever, I changed our white sheets to this Oxford Striped Sheet Set. And I should clarify – I chance our sheets – they’re just always white, not patterned 😉 I love the updated look! I’m still a white sheet girl at heart, but this is a fun change for spring. The pattern reminds me of a seersucker suit!
I added my favorite Faux Greenery Stems to this vase I’ve had for years. The stems continue to be ones I reach for year after year!
I haven’t changed the photos in our Gallery Wall Frames since the year I installed them, but the images from various vacations continue to be some of my favorites! Another reason I love these oversized frames so much. They can be personalized so easily and it’s simple (and super affordable) if you do decide to swap out the photos!

I also gave our smaller guest bedroom a refresh for the first time since fall of 2020. I think it might be a world record for the longest I’ve left a room without a single change. This also happens to be the background for Kurtis’ business calls, so that may have had a little to do with it. But we’re loving this lighter look for spring! I anticipate this room won’t change much for summer.
I’ve had this Sea Glass Sandbar Art for years, and it’s still a favorite budget find! Ours is the 36″x36″, but it comes in a variety of sizes.
SPRING GUEST BEDROOM SOURCES: Cane Bed | Similar Nightstand | Lamp | Sea Glass Sandbar Art (also available here) | Bench | Bead Chandelier | Hand-Knotted Rug | Linen Blackout Drapes | Hotel Style Duvet Cover | Linen Pillows | Striped Tassel Pillows | Plaid Lumbar Pillow
Here’s how the adjoining bathroom looks today! I haven’t shown it much since the reveal last year, but it’s still one of my favorite updates we’ve made in our home!

Moving into our main guest bedroom, we made some updates to the bedding and wall art!
I used this Palm Leaf Shadow Box Art in our living room a few years ago and love how it looks here just as much! I recently found a look for less version here. It’s smaller but still a very similar vibe!
Over on the dresser, I added some pops of color with the faux greenery and come coffee table books.
Side note: these pictures were taken a month or so ago, and you’ll notice that Paint Dipped Vase and Similar Faux Maidenhair Fern Stems travelled around quite a bit while I was finalizing the decor plans 😉

I shared some recent updates to our den in my post on Benjamin Moore Hale Navy, but I’ll be sharing a few closer looks today!
My goal is to have some of our drone photography shots of 30A available as digital downloads for sale by June! I’m still trying to figure out the logistics, but I’m excited to be able to offer them to you all!

Moving out to the pool house, I didn’t change much for spring other than take our Christmas decor down 😉 But, until the outside started to green up a bit more, I really loved these corduroy pillows from Christmas in the space! Now that the weather has warmed up, there’s a solid chance these will all be swapped out for indoor/outdoor pillows that can accommodate wet bathing suits better!

It has been so fun watching the leaves on the trees starting to show up! You may remember that when the pool house was finished last year, we were pretty deep into fall and we were mostly looking at orange and brown tones out the window!

The view from the dining table is really starting to change too!
Rest assured, I did add some faux tulips to the dining table out here to add to the spring vibes since I really didn’t change much else. But the reality is, we’re ready to get this space prepped for summer!

I hope you enjoyed this year’s spring home tour! As I mentioned, we’ve actually been in spring mode around here for several months, so I’ll likely be starting the transition over to summer decor shortly!

It looks great — I love the dipped vases! I’m in the Omaha area and would love to see the listing if it’s live. Excited to see your new adventures in Florida!

Thank you so much! And we actually went under contract in the first day, so the listing is no longer live 🙂
