2014 – The Year of Travel

Travel

It is beyond crazy to me that this year is already over. But it truly was an amazing year and I am so grateful for all of you that have followed along with my projects, stories, travels, etc. If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I managed to put out my one piece of New Year’s decor over the weekend {you can read more about the Auld Lang Syne print if you’re interested}, and got Christmas all packed away. It feels great to start fresh now.

I  know it seems like we do a lot of DIY and home projects {which is true}, but this year was definitely the year of travel – and we even visited several locations in duplicate. Although a lot of these trips were work related, we know we are beyond blessed to see so much of this beautiful world. Travel is what keeps us going, as I mentioned at the beginning of the year. And quite honestly? Even then, knowing we had a lot of travel ahead of us early in the year, we had no idea what we were in for. Work hard – play hard! Here were my destinations this year:

San Juan, Puerto Rico

St. Lucia

Barbados

Antigua

St. Maarten

St. Croix

Phoenix, AZ

 Miami, FL

Tampa, FL

Atlanta, GA

Shannon > Killarney, Ireland

London, England

Munich, Germany

Austria

Venice, Italy

Atlanta, GA {for Haven!}

Las Vegas, NV

Salt Lake City, UT

London, England

Miami, FL

Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Turks & Caicos

St. Maarten

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Bahamas

St Maarten
{St. Maarten – December 2014}
London
{London – September 2014}

Venice
{Venice – May 2014}
Austria
{Austria – May 2014}

In addition to all of my usual projects, I really plan to do a better job of documenting our trips {what we loved, what we hated}, etc. in 2015.

I want to thank each and every one of you for following along this little blog of mine. I hope to bring you more DIY and home decor inspiration as well as travelogues in the upcoming year. As this year closes, I wish you all blessings for a wonderful new year!

    You forgot about Atlanta, GA for Haven! 🙂 Will you fit me into your suitcase for some European travel? I’ve never been to Europe! I’m so happy for you that you have gotten to see the world this year! To many more happy and safe travels.

      What?!? How did I possibly forget that? Funny enough, that reminds me I also visited Atlanta in April as well but apparently wiped that from my memory too 😉 Thanks for the reminder and I hope you have a wonderful New Year!! xoxo

    Do you remember the name of the place you stayed in Turks and Caicos? We are going in April and now looking for a place to book. Would love a recommendation!

      Hi Jessica! We were actually only there for a day on a cruise. So unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations. The water there is so beautiful and unreal! Enjoy your trip 🙂
