Auld Lang Syne: Gold, Glitter and Song

I wanted to share with you Auld Lang Syne gold, glitter and song!

Auld Lang song saying on paper with glitter and holly beside it.

Happy New Year! {almost}

I dressed up our powder bath with the following print from Lindsay Letters {it replaced the ‘Oh Holy Night’ version seen in my last Christmas Home Tour}.

I think I may do a little mini-project today and whip up some of these fun and festive glitter champagne bottles for tonight’s festivities. Let’s face it – the only thing that could make bubbly champagne more perfect is to pour it from a glittery bottle. Glitter + champagne = perfection.

And on a final note, I’d like to share a song. This is likely the most beautiful version of Auld Lang Syne I have heard, sung by Lea Michele. Below is the movie version of the song {cute movie if you haven’t seen it} and following that is the studio version. Prepare to be blown away. I get chills every time I hear it.

Studio version:

A big thank you to all of you that have read my blog this year! May have you have an amazing and prosperous New Year in 2014!
