Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

Wednesday Watch List 021716

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

1 – This stunning kitchen makeover by Manderley Design Co. is traditional with a twist. I love the white subways in combination with the brass light fixtures and wood countertops. I’m also geeking out over the gorgeous gray-blue cabinets that store the microwave, coffee maker and recipe books.

2 – Have you ever stared at gorgeous bookshelves on Pinterest and been totally confused on how to recreate the look in your own home? Bookshelves are one of the trickiest areas in your home…You need them to function, but you also want them to add to the style in the room. And lucky for all of us, my friend Heather just launched The Bookshelf Styling Class.  After years working as a designer, Heather developed a tried-and-true method for bookshelf styling that works with any decorating style. When you sign up for the class, you get immediate access to 90 minutes of videos as well as handy templates and cheat sheets to help you style your space. You can learn the content on demand, at your own pace! The intro price is currently set at only $29, but on March 1st, the regular price will be $49 going forward. Heather will guide you through how to use the existing items in your home, shop smart, and style with an overall plan in place. (No more guesswork and constant rearranging)! To learn more about the course or to enroll, simply click here. I’ve gone through the course myself recently and can’t even tell you how invaluable Heather’s advice, tips and methods are!

3 – Remember my paisley pillows I had in our living room last summer? Many of you were bummed out when you realized I made them and you didn’t want to go through the work of making your own. The good news is, I found some paisley pillows on Etsy in the same fabric! I still love the combo of the navy, lighter blues and mossy greens. This pillow is the same fabric, but a bit more affordable because the pattern isn’t on the backside.

4 – I came across this really beautiful glass bottle art in a search I’m doing for affordable art prints, and I thought you guys would love it as well! You know I have an obsession with blue and green glass bottles so this art was obviously calling my name! I then found out that the artist, Holly Whitcomb, also lives in Omaha so I was even more in love!

5 – Are you a blogger? Have you ever entertained the idea of becoming a blogger? Sometimes, the only thing holding someone back from starting a blog is the tech side of things. Admittedly, it can be scary and a source of major frustration.  The great news is, my friend Leslie from Chaotically Creative, just wrote an ebook, What The Tech?, all about the techy side of blogging. Whenever I break something on my blog, Leslie is always the first person I message to help me figure out what went wrong. Thankfully she hasn’t unfriended me yet 😉

What The Tech? breaks down techy lingo into plain English, and I love that it builds your confidence to help you realize you really can do your own behind-the-scenes work on your blog if you can follow directions. It’s so doable and not something to be scared of! Leslie helps build that confidence and guides you through step-by-step some of the scarier sides of blogging.

At the end of this post I am giving away one Advanced Package of What The Tech? (a $55 value)! I currently have the Master Package because I absolutely love when e-books have the option to join a Facebook working group, so I recommend looking into that option as well. I find that not only do I get a lot of valuable information in the book, but the Facebook group is a great place to pop-in and ask questions and get support from other bloggers!

Lastly, I’ve finally completed a page dedicated to all of my favorite blogging and photography resources. Be sure to check it out, as well! And don’t forget to enter the giveaway below!

Sure! It’s John Robshaw’s Kedara in Blue Green. I bought it from the following site: http://www.housefabric.com/Kedara-Blue-Green-P166109C2372.aspx but I’m sure others may carry it as well!
