Link Party

This pretty project party February 2016 has beautiful reveals, steal all the gorgeous looks!

We’re baaacckk! First things first. You’ll notice, not only has the Pretty Preppy Party become the Pretty Project Party, we’ve gained two new fabulous hostesses! And we have a beautiful new graphic! So get ready to party with us the third Thursday of every month and share any of your beautiful projects you’ve been working on throughout the month. We are SO excited about today!

Pretty Project Party

For the last year+ we’ve co-hosted the Pretty Preppy Party with several other well known blogs and it’s been such fun to see what you all have been up to. After all, we show our DIY projects off every day so we really love to have a chance to see what you all are working on and what is inspiring you. We decided to make the link party even better so today we are launching the even-more-awesome Pretty Project Party! We’re so pleased that we have two new hostesses – Tammy from Pink Peppermint Design and Rachael from This Is Our Bliss, who will both now be joining in the design fun. You may have noticed the slight name change, not that there was anything wrong with “Pretty Preppy Party” but we didn’t want our readers to feel like they couldn’t link up a project if it didn’t fall into the “preppy” category. So before we get to the link party {the widget is at the bottom} here is a bit about what all the party hosts have been up to this last month! We’ll start with our two new hostesses so you can get to know a bit about them first. Rachael from This is Our Bliss shared Part 1 of her master bedroom makeover… Her master bedroom (finally!) got a refresh and she revealed it here as part of the New Year, New Room Challenge. The reveal Part II is still on its way! She is still trying to figure out why it took her 4 years to show this room some love!

A master bedroom with a gray headboard, gray, black pillows and a large metallic mirror above the bed.   Tammy from Pink Peppermint Design posted about creating a cozy space in her home. This space looks perfect to curl up in on a cold winter’s day:)

A bonus room with a small coffee table, a small gray couch, armchairs in the corner and a silver lamp. I recently completed a guest bedroom makeover and used shades of soft blue to recreate a calm, relaxing retreat for our guests.

A gues bedroom with blue and white pillows and bedspread, plus a black and crystal globe chandelier over the bed.   Julie decided to try her hand at some landscape art for her kitchen and shows how to DIY your own for around $15! (It’s easier than you might think!) Check out the post here.

A white traditional kitchen with a large brass light fixture above the island. Heather from Southern State of Mind decided that if she fell asleep dreaming about something and woke up thinking about it, it it was time to figure out a way to make it happen. So pulling inspiration from Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James store, she wallpapered her bathroom with navy grasscloth wallpaper. But her version only cost her $40.

Over at 11 Magnolia Lane, Christy also made over her master bedroom and created this easy DIY Gallery Wall. You can see how she did it with free printables and Dollar Store frames HERE.

Now on to the fun part! We want to see your PRETTY projects! We’ll be selecting our favorites to feature on all our blogs next Thursday as well as sharing our picks on our social media, including the Pretty Project Party Pinterest Board which you can follow HERE. Directions: Be sure to include a link back to the party in your post, especially if you want to be considered for a feature. Share some love by leaving comments on other links. You can also share your project on Instagram using the hashtag #prettyprojectparty {great for you non-bloggers!} as we look for features that catch our eye over there as well.

An InLinkz Link-up

Thanks everyone! We can’t wait to see what you have been working on! If you would like to follow along on more of my home decor, DIY, lifestyle, travel and other posts, I’d love to have you follow me on any of the following:

So excited you ladies are doing this again! This link up was always my favorite! I wasn’t sure how many links were allowed so I added more than one since I have been a busy bee this year.

Ok Sarah (maybe it’s late and that’s why I don’t see it) but I’m looking for the widget to add to my posts and I can’t find it! It’s probably under my nose too!

Thanks for joining us!! If you scroll to the very bottom of all the thumbnails that have already linked up, you should see a blue button that says “Add Your Link”. If you click that, you can load your posts from there. You can link several projects up – no problem at all! 🙂

Thanks Sarah! Sorry, maybe I didn’t explain myself correctly (it was late). I meant that previously you ladies provided the actual “PPP” logo so we can add it to our posts on our website and use it as a link to your link party. Make sense? Again sorry for the confusion!

OH – gotcha! No worries! Go ahead and just do a text link to any of our posts. You can just state at the bottom of your posts: Linking up to The Pretty Project Party, and then hyperlink the PPP part to my blog post or any of ours to get credit. I hope that helps!
