Wednesday Watch List

Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

This post contains affiliate links for your shopping convenience. You can read my full disclosure policy here.

1 – There are so many fun and colorful coastal spaces in this home tour from Megan Gorelick Interiors! Once you click over, I find it best viewed by clicking on the first image and then scrolling through that way so that you aren’t seeing just the cropped thumbnails. I love so many of the tile and wallpaper and paint color selections!

2 – There are a lot of cutenew arrivals over at J. Crew Factory right now! I couldn’t add this sweatshirt to my cart quickly enough! If you’re a Passport member (it’s free to join) you can get an extra 15% off at checkout once you sign in with code FAMILY. All sources are listed below the graphic.

Here are some more neutral and nautical vibe new arrivals.

There are lots of cute new resort wear pieces too!

3 – I actually meant to share this in my post on What I Packed for Hawaii, because this tinted mineral sunscreen was actually my most worn item of the whole trip! I used to swear by the Elta version but they only have two color options in their tinted sunscreen, whereas Merit has 15! During the day in Hawaii, I only wore tinted mineral sunscreen in lieu of foundation. I love that it makes your skin look super clean and fresh but still protects from the sun. I’ve actually used it for about a year at home now, as well, for beach and pool days. I alternate between color 18 and 20, depending on how tan I am. If you use code FREELASH, you can get a free mini mascara with any $75+ purchase on their site while supplies last.

Here are some of Merit’s other best sellers. I recently got the flush balm to try so I’m excited to play with that since so many rave about it as a cream blush! You can also shop their products here if you prefer shopping at Sephora.

4 – If you’re looking to do a little bedding refresh for spring, I recently added this European linen dream quilt to our guest bedroom! We’re huge fans of Quince bedding and now have it on every single bed in our home (after this bedroom makeover). We previously had the gingham linen duvet cover in this particular guest bedroom for fall and the holidays, but I was ready to lighten up the space for spring! The quilt set (color is Mist) was perfect! We kept the usual Bamboo Sheet Set andOrganic Airy Gauze Blanket – both of which our guests always rave about. We have both in the carriage house bedroom too!

Since we are selling our home furnished, we already know there are a few pieces that we want to replace with the same item. Kurtis has always loved the bed shown above, but since it’s only used in a guest room, I don’t think we need the fully customizable version that Pottery Barn offers. When I saw this linen wingback bed from Quince, I immediately ordered samples. They should be here any day now, but I think we may go that route instead! Here are a few other new home finds from them. All sources are listed below the graphic.

5 – I’m in the weeds on finalizing some of the design plans for our new home and rugs are a big item I want finalized before we move in! There’s nothing worse than having to add a rug after all your furniture is in place! There are some cute new coastal vibe styles at Ruggable, and they have generously agreed to extend my discount code for you guys! You can get 15% off your purchase with my code LIFEONVIRGINIASTREET15. All sources for the rugs shown below are listed under the graphic.

Love joining along on the redesign—-where do you get your mattresses? Would love recommendations, especially for guest rooms. Thanks!

Thank you so much! So the mattresses we currently have and love are probably 5-7 years old from HSN. I’ve checked multiple times over the last year or so and unfortunately they no longer sell them! So we’re actively on the hunt for some good options for our new house. I’ll be sure to share what we find!

I love that coastal house…a nice blend of the greens and blues and perfect for the water vibe.
I have had very good luck with the Ruggables over the years.
Happy first day of spring- xo Diana
