Wednesday Watch List

Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I really enjoyed “touring” the Serena & Lily holiday house rooms on their website! They chose a designer for each of their store locations to create a space, and each one is so unique and beautiful! You can see and shop each of the spaces here. You can find even more photos of each when you click the location and scroll a bit past the products from each scene.

2 – I bought this pleated shoulder top a few months ago and have been wearing it quite a bit! It’s essentially a terry sweatshirt, but elevated with the pleated shoulder/sleeves and cute button detail! It comes in five colors and I noticed it just got marked down so wanted to share it before it sells out!

Here you can see me in the Egret color with these jeans. It fits true to size (I’m in a Large).

This other mixed media sweatshirt I’ve been wearing a lot is also on sale right now! I love that you get the look of layers without the bulk.

3 – I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. Never underestimate some of the products you can find on the “kid” versions of sites like Pottery Barn, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, etc. Many times you can find items that would work well in a number of spaces, but for a much lower price point than the “adult” version of their website. I’m loving this scalloped rattan flushmount light I found! I’ve seen similar versions for more than double the price, so I think it’s a great one! This light and this light are additional flushmount finds that look so chic!

4 – Last year, many of you went wild for the Pottery Barn plaid rug and towels in our guest bathroom. So much so, they sold out within a few days.

Since that time, I haven’t found anything comparable (particularly when it came to the bath mat)! But, I recently saw this 3-piece bath set that has a very similar bath mat! If you don’t like the tassels, you could easily clip them off, but I think they’re a cute addition! I also found these guest towels that are very similar and now also on sale! If you’re looking for even more plaid decorating inspiration, be sure to check out our 2021 Christmas home tour!

5 – One of the biggest changes from our home in Omaha to our home in Florida (aside from the size), has been the kitchen. We loved all of the organizational features that we had built into our kitchen during the renovation. Our Florida home just has basic drawers and cabinets with shelves, and there is a lot of room for improvement to maximize the space. We’ve slowly been adding pieces, like this knife drawer organizer. Since we have very limited counter space, we wanted our knives in a drawer rather than out in a block. This organizer has been so great and holds so many knives!
