Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

– I’ve never been much of an open-shelving advocate in the past. I always think they look so beautiful, but then I picture our cats using them as their personal jungle gym and I immediately rule out the possibility. However, the new house has a tiny (and I mean tiny) kitchen. I’m wondering if removing one of the upper cabinets will hep to open the space up a bit. And, with a short-term rental, I don’t think there’s nearly as much “ugly” kitchen stuff that needs to be hidden. I am in love with these gorgeous floating shelf options and have always been so impressed with the quality of their shelves with others I’ve ordered in the past. They’re typically made with a French cleat (not sure if these are as well), making it super easy to hang really strong shelves! Side note: their buy more save more sale ends tonight at 9 PM PT, which gives you 15-30% off your purchase with code SAVEMORE!

– I ordered this cute ruffled eyelet top for spring after seeing someone wear it the other day. So cute! And don’t forget, if you’re a cardholder, you get an extra 20% off your purchase this month (on top of all other sales) with code CARDLOVE. And if you haven’t taken a peek yet, their new arrivals are so good right now!

– Speaking of new arrivals, how great are these navy stripe paper placemats? They come in a pad of 24 and are perfect when you’re hosting with kids or just don’t want to have to deal with washing cloth placemats! They’d also be perfect for an outdoor party!

– If you’ve read here for awhile, you know I’ve loved Moravian stars for some time. We even have a giant pendant light version in our powder bath! When I saw this Moravian Star Armed Sconce I immediately started brainstorming where I could use it. Our porch lights have been struggling for some time and because they’re open on the bottom, they’re a constant magnet for spider webs and nests. So I’m thinking these may be a fun solution! My only concern is the fact they only have one bulb, but we typically use LED lights outside so it may not be an issue. These are so cute!

– Yesterday marked the start of the Serena & Lily Spring Design Event! This basically means most of their entire site is 20% off with code FRESHMIX! It’s one of the few sitewide sales they offer each year so it’s always a popular one! With that, about 90% of my house is on sale between this and the Pottery Barn buy more, save more sale! Here are a few favorites from around our home, and most of it is on sale! Side note: I’m also eyeing these pillows in ivory/blue to use in our summer decor! I’m in love with that print!
