I’ve found a few easy methods and easy paint touch-up kits for quickly touching up paint on our walls, trim and doors. See below for some of my favorite options.

These highly-rated refillable paint brush pens work great in most situations! You simply use the included syringe to fill the pen from your paint bucket, snap on the brush tip, and start painting. I find it works best to not apply too much paint and then be sure to feather the edges to seamlessly blend it. I would not recommend using these if your touchup is much larger than a quarter size, especially if the current paint on your walls was rolled on vs. brushed, as you will likely see the texture change. Ideal for small knicks, scratches, rubbed-off paint trim edges, covering nail hole fills, etc.
If you have a larger area to cover, I’d recommend repainting the full wall or to a natural stopping point on your wall, trim, or door. If it’s still a fairly small section, I have found a makeup sponge or sponge brush to work well to dab on paint if you have clear rolled on texture already on your walls. For trim I prefer a brush like this one.

Free Paint Color Organization Printables
If you frequently paint your home like I do, it can sometimes be difficult to keep all your colors (and paint cans) organized! I recently created a free paint color organization printable set that I think you will all love!
Here’s how I use each of the pages:
- Page 1 – I print on white cardstock to complete and keep handy around our home or near where we store our paint.
- Page 2 – I print on these labels and add them to the paint cans for easy identification.
- Page 3 – I shrink to fit on an index card to keep in my purse, or print as is and fold up to carry with me at all times. I simply add a drop of paint and the room name.
Simply complete the form below and I’ll email the PDF files over to you to start using today! It will also subscribe you to my email list, but you can easily unsubscribe at any time if that isn’t your thing.
