As I close out my 2021 recaps for the season, today I wanted to share the 2021 Top 10 Best Sellers on Life On Virginia Street. As most of you know, I share a weekly update in my Weekend Recap posts with the top sellers each week, but it’s fun to take all of that data in aggregate to see the all-time favorites for the year! Or maybe that’s just the math and statistics major in me coming out 😉

This year I opted to delete a few items that made the list, as they were no longer available for purchase. It’s not super helpful or inspirational if you can’t buy those favorite items, right?! So, let’s jump into the most popular items I linked to over the past year. There are likely some items you recognize, but probably a few surprises mixed in, as well!
#10 – Riviera Counter Stools
I always love when an item we’ve owned for several years, like our Riviera Counter Stools, makes the best seller list! I typically see more of the new and now type items popping up, so I love when a good standby also makes the cut! You can read my full review on the stools here.

#9 – Faux Greenery Stems
I’ve raved about these faux greenery stems for as long as I can remember, and that’s because they’re so versatile! Outside of the Christmas season, you can find them in multiple spots around our home. I noticed they recently raised the price on them, but if you’re looking for some realistic and timeless greenery, you can’t go wrong with these! For reference, in most vases, I have to bend the stem quite a bit because they are so large. But, in the vase below, I have them fully extended so you can see the scale.

#8 – Mini Hydrangea Stems
Last year, my favorite Faux Viburnum Stems came back in stock after a few year hiatus. But they sold out rather quickly in the springtime. So, I made it my mission to find something with a similar vibe at an even lower price. Enter these mini hydrangea stems. While the size is much smaller and the quality isn’t as great as the Pottery Barn option, I still love these mini hydrangea stems! They’re definitely intended for a shorter vase but I love that they’re pretty pliable and add such a pretty pop of color to any room! Plus, you can buy three for less than the price of one PB stem!

#7 – My Favorite Fertilizer
Each summer, my favorite fertilizer skyrockets into my top seller list. It works so well, and I always love receiving photos from people that tried it and were just amazed! Last year wasn’t a great year for my planters with all the outdoor construction (and little access to a hose) but I’ll be back with a vengeance this summer! I typically sprinkle the fertilizer on when I’m planting and then follow up monthly for the remainder of the summer. I love that it promotes additional blooms throughout the season!
#6 – Slope Arm Sofa & Sectional
Our slipcovered linen sofa and sectional continue to be top performers each year. I have review available on both the sofa and the sectional, and plan to update the sectional version shortly. But short answer – we still love both of them and are so impressed with the fabric we chose (I think it makes all the difference). All of the specifics on exactly what we ordered can be found in each of the review posts.

#5 – Faux Tulips
One of my personal favorite finds of 2021 was these faux tulips! They come in a wide variety of color options, but I love the white! They are so lifelike to the touch, and my only complaint is they are a smidge small. The vase I’m using below has such a large opening that I had to use two bunches, but you can see regardless of the smaller size, each bunch is rather substantial!

#4 – Dreary Abstract Landscape Art
I’ll be honest – this one surprised me! I bought this Dreary Abstract Landscape Art when it launched in mid-2020. I originally bought it for the den, but decided I liked it in our smaller guest bedroom too! It’s a bit large in here, but the color and vibe work so well that the room literally still looks exactly like this a year and a half later! The art is a great bang for your buck and I’m happy to see they recently restocked it and made it available for shipping!

#3 – Lynwood Square Ottomans
We love our Lynwood Square Ottomans so much, we actually have a number of them around our home (including the bench style). The quality is excellent for the price, and they now have so many fabric offerings, there’s a style for anyone! They work great as an ottoman, but also for extra seating at the end of a bed, in front of a fireplace, as a window seat – pretty much all over! You can also see another angle of the faux tulips here, as well!

#2 – Woven Patio Furniture
Our woven patio furniture has made the list for two years running now! And for good reason! It’s so popular that it’s basically sold out starting in April through October or so every year. Restocks seem to only last a matter of minutes before they sell out again. Like many things, the price on this went up slightly in the new year, but it now includes free freight shipping so it’s a pretty modest increase. We are still so happy with our set, and love that the pieces come with custom furniture covers!

#1 – Woven Christmas Tree Collar
If this woven Christmas tree collar could have managed to stay in stock past early November, I think it would have been an even more dramatic rise to #1! Besides the great woven texture, one of my favorite features is that it can be disassembled in half, to make storage a breeze. And the price is pretty dang hard to beat! If you’re looking to purchase a tree collar for next year, be sure to check out my post on tree collars – a bunch are on clearance right now! Side note: that rattan chair also made the best seller list, but it was one I chose to cut because it hasn’t been restocked since I originally shared it. But, it hasn’t been removed from their website, so my fingers are crossed in hopes that they do plan a restock, and it may be more of a distribution issue right now. The chairs are so good!

That wraps up my 2021 best sellers for the year! I’m excited to see what becomes popular this year!

Hi! Which color were your blackout PB Roman shades ?
Sarah says
Unfortunately they don’t make our color any longer! I don’t remember the name of it but it’s a light blue. Sometimes you can still find them on eBay!

I was afraid of that! 🙁 Thanks!
