I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I’m happy to announce the dining room has been photographed and the reveal post will be live tomorrow morning!
A few other things I shared on my Instagram as well as a few other happenings around here:
I was at Target the other evening and finally saw these drapes in person. My friend Megan from Honey We’re Home originally spotted them and I was excited to finally see them in person. The pattern, although a smaller scale, is a dead ringer for the famous Schumacher Betwixt fabric (which I now have in three colors in my house). Use them as drapes, as they were intended, or cut them up for throw pillows!
On Friday afternoon, I shared this shot from our upstairs. The second photo was the one that didn’t make the cut but I thought you may still like to see a different perspective of our main level hallway from above!
Saturday morning, I shared this shot of our guest bedroom – along with a spoiler alert. I’ll be making some changes to this room in the coming week to make it more “me”. It was the first bedroom in our house I made over once we moved in, and although I still love it, I’m really for a little refresh after two and a half years!
Sunday morning I shared this view on Instagram. The temperatures took a surprisingly cold drop overnight and it made me sad that soon I won’t be seeing my beautiful planters as I walk down the hallway each day.
Speaking of my planters, despite the recent rains and storms that gave them quite a beating, they are hanging on!
Sunday I went to the Omaha Street of Dreams with a few neighbor friends. The home below was my favorite and I plan to share a lot more details on the blog soon. surprisingly, I was in love with the black walls, exposed brick and wood beams in the gorgeous dining room!
After the Street of Dreams, my husband and I spent about 10 minutes in our courtyard relaxing. And then I got the itch to trim trees. Two hours later, we have so many tree limbs down, we have no where to put them. But, hey! It’s done now. Unfortunately, I don’t have any ‘before’ shots because it happened spur of the moment, but here is the front yard with a fresher look. Most them previously had grown so low to the ground that they were difficult to walk under – but not any longer! We still have a few more to trim up (particularly the bald Cyprus) but if already looks so much better!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! See you back here tomorrow for the dining room reveal!

I love Street of Dreams! I was so sad I didn’t get to make it in time this year!

Sara, could you share a floorplan of your home in your next blog? I wish we have branches from trees ready for disposal. I’ve had several craft projects in mind the past year or so that will need twigs and branches and I don’t want to have to buy them.
