First off, I’m am guest posting today over at Absolutely Arkansas while the fabulous Kylie is in Rome with her new hubby. Stop by and check it out!
Today marks the second Wednesday Watch List {check out last week’s here}. Each Wednesday I’ll be sharing random products/homes/links/recipes that caught my eye over the past week. Hopefully you find something in the list that interests you as well!

1 – This product is genius. It may look a bit foreign at first glance, but it is a total game-changer for taking photos {and SO affordable}! Check out these comparisons below using this handy little invention {it can also work as a reflector in addition to a filter}. Bad reflection? Gone! Weird light coming in the windows? Gone! It works even better on human subjects but I didn’t have any willing models nearby 😉 No more waiting around for that “perfect” time of day to take a photo. The photos below are just using the “filter” version but the set also comes with 4 other light reflectors I haven’t even tried out yet! You can learn more about the product here.

2 – This simple kitchen makeover proves the power of white paint and some white subway tiles. Although the space isn’t 100% my style, I think the homeowner nailed it!

3 – I think I’ve officially found the perfect sandal for summer and they are much comfier than I expected. These are similar {mine are the pebbled leather}. They were on backorder for some time {and now appear sold out} and I couldn’t have been happier when they arrived last week. This patent leather version is close in color and overall look – and if you’re less likely to need a standard/basic color – this mint version is to die for.

4 – I came across this recipe on Pinterest – a Coconut Lime Cliantro Cooler. Doesn’t that just sound divine? Anything with coconut flavor and I am sold. I think I am going to give the recipe a try this weekend!

5 – If you have a blog, ever intend to blog or just want to learn more about blogging in general, my friend Abby just launched her first eBook. And let me tell you, it is an excellent read. I can’t believe how much I learned from her. I can’t say it’s a fast read…only because you’ll want to implement every single thing she recommends as you read along. Highly recommended!

And don’t forget – I still have two giveaways in progress. The $310 Target gift card and the TIKI Brand outdoor summer kit!

I also wanted to remind you that tomorrow is the link party for the Summer Celebration party – so start collecting all your links for the 7 am EST link up!

Do you shoot through the filter or use it like you would a reflector to bounce light?

You actually use it more like a reflector to bounce light (but it would slightly block it). It is still transparent enough though to let light through if that makes sense.

Yes so you are talking if there is direct sun hitting a subjects face you can use this and the light passes through and softens?

Hi there! I can’t seem to be able to open the link for the photography filter/lens. I am new to photography so any help I can find I absorb like a sponge. 😉 Can you tell me the name of the product so that I can purchase it? Thank you so much! 🙂

It’s the Neewer 110CM 43-Inch 5-in-1 Collapsible Multi-Disc Light Reflector. Hope that helps!
