Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!
1 – In the fall, I seem to really be drawn to botanical prints in the form of art. That’s why I am obsessed with this living room in this gorgeous home tour.
2 – Believe it or not, I’m already starting to round up some items with brands for the holiday season. One item I ordered and absolutely love is this tree collar. I had never heard of such a thing, but when I saw it, I knew I immediately needed it and I’m contemplating ordering a second. They essentially take the place of a Christmas tree skirt, which is ideal for this girl who has a cat that think tree skirts are her litter box.
3 – I bought this utility jacket for our trip to NYC and couldn’t love it more. I may have mentioned it in a Weekend Recap post when I first bought it a few weeks back, but thought it was worth mention again. specially now that it’s on sale online for only $31.99. I’m thinking of also getting the dark tan color as well. I love the longer length and feel like the sizing works well (maybe even a tiny bit big?). It’s the perfect light jacket for fall!
4 – My friend Jen over at The Striped House just did a genius DIY reveal. She changed all of her old hollow color plain panel oak doors into works of art with a little trim, paint and elbow grease. Just a gorgeous transformation that could literally change the entire look of a house!
5 – Before New York, I bought four – I repeat – FOUR pairs of these bootcut jeans. I had a birthday coupon, but besides that, I they fit like a dream. Of course I had to have one pair of every color they make them in (FYI each color is listed individually online). Highly recommended to at least try! And, can we all say an ‘amen’ for the fact that bootcut jeans are finally making a comeback. I can’t do skinny jeans any more!
