Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week.

Wednesday Watch List 042016

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

1 – If you’re a fan of the show Fixer Upper or love anything modern farmhouse style, I think you’re going to love this gorgeous home tour!

2 – While I was in Salt Lake last week, my parents raved about their new cheese slicer. When I saw it in action, I knew we needed one too! We’re pretty obsessed with cheese around here, and we like some of the drier varieties that can be really hard to cut. This slicer makes it easy peasy. For reference, my parents have the beechwood version, but I went with the bamboo version (it was $3 cheaper and I liked the two-tone look). They also have one that looks more like butcher block and another with a brushed stainless steel inlay.

3 – Currently, World Market is offering 20% off all of their outdoor furniture & decor items with code SUNOUT.  I’m also loving their summer outdoor guide, that’s full of ways to maximize your outdoor space, summer recipes, ideas on creating an urban garden, and more! I’ve mentioned this beautiful melamine dinnerware before, but I think it’s time to finally pull the trigger. I think it will be perfect for our courtyard and pool area (as will these glasses)!

4 – A gorgeous lucite towel bar that will make you never want a ‘standard’ towel bar again! It comes in multiple lengths and four finishes, and pretty much has me drooling!

5 – This post from my friend Summer at Simple Stylings has me totally inspired because a) I don’t bake much, if anything, and b) I mostly buy store-bought. These tips on how to dress up store-bought cakes is priceless! No one will ever guess you didn’t bake them. Why would you ever want to bake your own??
