Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 –  I am crazy in love with this fall home tour from Charming in Charlotte, particularly this chalkboard art and faux pumpkin vases. I’m scheming up ways I can create a similar chalkboard piece with items we love during fall or Christmas. And you’ll die over the pumpkin vase tutorial. Still wondering why I had never thought to try this?!

2 – Last week I discussed my search for some marble alternatives. What do you know, a few days later I found this helpful post/video from a designer who’s work I have been admiring from afar. It certainly doesn’t hurt that several of her sentiments on some of the options mirrored my thoughts exactly. So, now I just need to find a place I can get my hands on some of the PentalQuartz in the Polished Carrara!

3 – Not sure if it is because I lean towards warmer tones in the fall, but I am in love with this antique copper chandelier as a possible option in the mudroom. The beaded one we have now is only two bulbs and we’ve ultimately decide it’s just not bright enough. Which makes me sad. But this beauty looks much more expensive than it is, and I am digging the antique copper finish!

4 – This little duo is one of the greatest inventions in all of creations. I am by no means a makeup expert, but I’m telling you, you can’t go wrong with this combo for Nars Orgasm (blush) and Laguna (bronzer). It lasts quite awhile, even with daily use, and I just ordered my second round. Thankfully it was available because I’ve checked multiple other times and it has been out of stock. Highly recommended!

5 – I’ve received enough emails from readers to know that it is time to schedule my next Fabric Friday Sale. I’ll plan to have the next sale go live on Friday, October 10th so mark your calendars. Do you have a preferred time to start the sale? I’ll do my best to accommodate. It’s crazy that my last sale was back in mid-August and today is already October. So ridiculous! Just a heads up – I have tons of Windsor Smith right now {particularly the Riad print} in multiple colorways!

Eeek I am so excited for your fabric sale, I am looking for something to compliment these pillows that I just made {http://www.jstdesign.ca/diy-napkin-pillow-covers/} Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Love your blog Sarah!

I LOVE those Jillian! So cool you made them from napkins! You know this colorscheme is right up my alley so I’m sure there will be something that will look good with them. I just have to dig through all my stuff 😉

Hey Sarah! Did you ever make a final decision on the countertop? I’m searching for something very similar for the bathroom right now. This post was super helpful 🙂

NO! I wish I did but it stresses me out to think about. I am leaning towards the Caeserstone Frosty Carrina though. I think I’ll be happier with a brighter color with less pattern.
