Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I love a good banquette situation (more on that coming soon!) and this home tour from The Collective Interiors may have one of the most unique ones yet! Not only is it extremely oversized, the scallops and light blue and tufting and contrast welts are all just so good! What a cheerful spot to eat breakfast every morning. The rest of the home has some more really beautiful spaces and wallpapers!

2 – J. Crew just launched tons of new arrivals for late summer and early fall. My favorite are the shell-toned colors. They’re so pretty with light tones for summer and then pair beautifully with browns or dark olive greens in the fall! I ordered this sweater in the heather chocolate and really love it! Since it doesn’t get chilly here for a few more months, I love a good “beach sweater” that can help cut a cooler night without being too hot. It fits fairly true to size but it does have a looser, slouchy fit (and the arms are rather long which I love)! The boatneck gives it a fun drape and it’s such a fun find for late summer and early fall! And don’t forget, if you’re a cardholder, you can still get an extra 20% off your purchased thru the 17th with code CARDLOVE.

And if you’re a fan of punchy brights, they brought those too! Every single one of these could transition fall, as well, with a simple swap of accessories or what you pair it with. They also would all look so beautiful with chocolate brown tones! And don’t worry – if you don’t love brights, these all come in lots of other colors and neutrals as well! I actually got the woven ballet flats in the rich hickory color for fall and love them so much! They fit true to size, but if you’re between sizes, I’d order up 1/2.

3 – These handmade “stick” candles stopped me in my scroll when I saw them recently. Aren’t they just so beautiful?! They’d be perfect on display on a mantel or in a tablescape during a special dinner. I love that they work equally as well for fall as they would the holidays and winter! They come in several pretty color options too. Since they are handmade, they do take a smidge longer to arrive – but in plenty of time before the seasons to start changing!
4 – As I went to reorder this lip gloss (for what seems like the 100th time?), I realized I may have never dedicated a spot to it on the Wednesday Watch List! I’ve shared it in outfit pics over the years but never on its own. So, here it is: my favorite lip gloss for adding color to my lips. The color I reach for most often is “All Things Magical” and then “Love Child” is a close second. All Things Magical is shown below and is so flattering with nearly every skin tone. It looks subtle but also finishes your look and is so pretty! Love Child is a beautiful darker shade I’ve actually worn even longer, but since it’s darker, I only tend to wear it when “going out”. They both have high shine without feeling sticky, hydrate, and have a subtle sweet scent. Highly recommended! I’ve used this lip liner for years (also universally flattering in the color Pillow Talk original) and it pairs really beautifully with both of them!
5 – I love brown tones this time of year because they still can work so well with summer decor colors but also transition beautifully for the new season. We have these pillows in the dusty blue color and love them! I also just ordered this style in the dark brown to try (love that it comes in three size options and multiple colors)! This pillow was also super tempting. Again it comes in multiple sizes and colors, but I particularly love that you can order just the cover, a poly insert or a down insert! Makes it so easy!
