Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I’d be lying if I said I didn’t stalk Kara Miller’s website weekly for new projects. So I was excited to see she shared her personal home tour recently, after it was also featured in Coastal Living magazine! It’s coastal meets farmhouse and is so darling! I always love to see how designers choose to decorate their personal homes! This view of her living room is one of my favorites from the tour – the wood paneled walls are so beautiful!

2 – It’s hard to believe the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale already ends Sunday. Of the clothing items I ordered and plan to keep, these are the winners (of those that are still in stock):
- These wide leg jeans are the only pair out of four jeans that I’m keeping. I really love how they fit! They have a bit of stretch and the nice stretchy waist that Wit & Wisdom is known for. They’re comfy, and honestly a great length even for the taller gals. I wore them out last night with block heel sandals and they didn’t feel too short! They definitely have a bit of a looser fit, and then adding in the stretch, I’d either order your regular size or down a size, based upon your preferred fit.
- You all know I’m a huge Varley fan, but most of the items I tried from the sale were a miss for me. However, I am keeping this pointelle sweater! I love the color for fall and it will work well with so many of my Double Soft bottoms in several of their colors.
- This striped sweater was probably my favorite purchase from the sale! It’s the perfect layering piece in classic nautical stripes. I ordered the large and love the fit. It’s definitely got a roomier vibe, so if you’re between sizes, I’d take your smaller size unless you’re going for an oversized fit.
You can see all of my initial picks from the sale here.
4 – I know it’s early to be talking about fall decor, but my two all-time favorite oak leaf branches are back this year – the green turning oak branch (on sale!) and the acorn oak branch! They are both so lifelike, rather large (so you don’t need a bunch) and I love the color tones on each of them. You can see them both in action in several spaces in our 2024 fall home tour!
5 – If you love the look of those marble ruffled bowls that are everywhere right now but can’t justify a $50-150 price tag, this highly-rated ruffled bowl is a great alternative that comes in at just under $12! So chic on a coffee table, console table or nightstand as decor or to corral smaller items like keys, jewelry, etc.
