Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I loved these great tips on how to hang drapery from Studio McGee. These “rules” are ones I have followed sometimes, but I know it is a frequent question that comes up when decorating.
2 – I haven’t shared any lighting in a while, and this orb flush-mount chandelier seemed worthy to bring lighting back! It can be so hard to find stylish flush mounts and this one takes the cake. I found additional orb flush mounts here and here if you’re in the market!
3 – Are you following the Dream Home Tour over at House of Turquoise? Erin featured part one on Monday, part two on Tuesday, and the tour will continue today. There are so many spaces in the home I love so far, but I think these staircases and stripes/molding are show stoppers! And, if you followed along on our #YourHomeStyle Instagram challenge, you’ll recognize the breakfast nook as one of the winners!
4 – Did you see our IKEA Rast Hack we made into a printer stand? You can check it out here.
5 – I actually shared this pineapple lace top in the early spring when I predicted the pineapple craze that would take over this summer. At the airport in Nashville, I saw the cutest lady in a top that looked just like the one I shared but it was black! Ummm…pineapples into fall? Yes please! I came home and stalked it online right away. The black actually looks so much better in person and is one of the cutest I’ve seen in a long while (it looks a bit gothic to me online, but it did not at all in person). The price is still a bit crazy, but, after having seen it in person I think I’ll be ordering it as an early birthday present to myself!

I look forward to these Wednesday picks. The drapery hanging rule saying you should use rings to hang should be a preference instead of a rule. Somehow using grommet makes the curtain look more crisp and it hangs a lot better than using rings. I bought a very similar orb chandelier for our home office and I love it. I could have a gone a size bigger but it’s all good. I love stripe accent walls, but am so scared to tackle it. My husband isn’t thrilled about helping with it either. One of our concerns is that our walls are not smooth but textured. Bleeding is very possible and we’ll end up with a nasty accent wall instead :-).
