Wednesday Watch List

Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I feel like I’m irrationally excited to see the completion of this striped bathroom makeover from PrepFord Wife. Victoria is in week four of six of all of this blue and white striped goodness and I’m loving it all so much already! It’s the last project she and her husband are undertaking (on a list of over 100 changes!) in their first home together. Be sure to check out all the progress so far (she’ll have another update tomorrow) and be sure to check out that amazing sink too. It’s all going to be so good. It has me so excited to eventually tackle our guest bathroom makeover (maybe we need striped tile?)!You can also follow Victoria’s cheerful and perfectly preppy Instagram feed here.

2 – It’s our 15th anniversary next month and my 40th birthday in September. We had two fun trips tentatively planned (nothing booked yet, thankfully, when the pandemic struck). But we’re really missing the act of travel. Or having a vacation on the horizon.

I’ve wanted this coffee table book from one of my favorite photographers for a few months (I own most of his others). And when I saw it was buy 3 for the price of 2 on a lot of books yesterday, I picked it up along with a few others! I was shocked at how many of my other current favorites were included. The sale also includes movies, DVDs and more. You can see all of the eligible items here (there are over 300)! No code required – you just add three eligible items to your cart and it takes off the lowest price item. They haven’t indicated when this sale ends but just look for the bright green ‘Savings’ box on the listing.

I love that while we can’t currently travel to Italy, at least we can flip through images and be reminded of why we love it so much!

3 – What’s cuter than a French bistro chair? A scalloped French bistro chair. Just found this new curated shop from Amanda Lindroth and it’s all so good! This caned picture light is a pre-order but basically couldn’t be more amazing. Also loving both colors of these wide stripe placemat sets! It’s Palm Beach meets Bahamas, and I love it all!

4 – Not sure about you guys, but I am one of those people that know I need a new razor and then get to the store and talk myself out of it when I see the prices. I’ll spend that much on a pillow, but razor refills?! Boring. I had heard a bunch of influencers talking about Billie razors and was a bit skeptical. So I checked with one of my close friends that used them and she raved. I ordered the starter kit in January and didn’t want to let you know how it went until I’d used it for awhile (and received a refill). And I’m a huge fan! It’s super affordable, and they send you refills based on your shaving schedule. I have yet to cut myself and the shave is super smooth. I probably need to scale back my refills bit a back (blaming the pandemic for that). I love the magic holder for it (included and highly recommended so it doesn’t get slimy). I also ordered the travel cover which worked great when we actually were traveling earlier this year. I actually have the DreamPop color set but loving this Cool Blue option now too! They’re also currently donating 1% of their revenue to food banks across the U.S. that need it most right now for COVID relief!

5 – My cute friend Cassie is launching another collection with Gibson tomorrow morning at 8 am CST – the Celebrate Summer collection! And this time, it will only be available here (and not Nordstrom) which sounds like it may help with distribution during these crazy times. And while I don’t have many pictures to share with you, I can tell you the previews I’ve seen so far are so good!
