Happy New Year! Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I’m loving every little detail in this Rochester Farmhouse Reveal from Bria Hammel Interiors! So many gorgeous features in every single image!

2 – In the winter months, I love a good fair isle sweater! And with our extreme temps in Nebraska, I’m all about the turtlenecks! I’m so in love with this fair isle turtleneck sweater but just can’t decide if I want the ivory or the pink version. There’s also a navy, too! So cute! Right now you can get an extra 40% off the sale price with code NEWYEAR (and all full-priced items are 25% off with the code).

3 – I’m not much of a digital calendar person. I prefer to have a written out to-do list each week in addition to a desk calendar. Since my last two came to an end, I picked up a desk calendar at Target (I can’t find it online) and this blank weekly to-do pad for the week. I love that it’s exactly 52 to sheets for each week of the year, and also includes daily habit tracking, in addition to your regular to-do list! Many I saw only tracked water intake or exercise, so if you have other daily goals, I found this to be the most useful, They also have a daily version on the same listing if that’s more your thing!

4 – I’ve had a lot of questions lately about the stools I added to our living room and that you saw in our master bathroom refresh. Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for a good look for less. This stool appears to look the closest in terms of color tone, and this stool is closest to the shape! Hopefully that gives you some good options! I personally love the Serena & Lily version, if you can hold out for one of their sitewide 20% off sales, but I think these other two are great alternatives for a similar look! I will say the S&L stool is darker than it appears online, and is closer to how it appears in my images (and similar in tone/color to the bench below, just slightly lighter). I’ve also had a few questions about whether or not the cats mess with them. Our cats are declawed so they haven’t been able to truly scratch them. Hawkeye does like to sit on them, but I usually add a blanket since it’s a natural product and don’t want any “splinters” (more like fibers? strands? shards?) to rub off on him. So happy with them though!

Natural Wicker Bench

5 – A few weeks back, we bought this phone sanitizer and we’re loving it so much! Kurtis and I both kept reading articles about cell phones being 10x dirtier than public restrooms, the amount of germs on phones, etc. etc. and we were pretty freaked out. And we’re not even germaphobes! But for two people that use their phones a lot, it seemed ridiculous that we weren’t really doing much to clean them. Especially with Omaha having the highest number of cases of the flu in the country right now. I read reviews on tons of options (and got lost in photos of petri dishes with proof it works), and ultimately went with this model. We’ve been really happy with it so far. Although I do wish I bought my own petri dish before I sanitized ours to see how bad they were because I’m weird like that 😉 It also works for remotes, keys, pacifiers, smart watches, headphones – basically anything that will fit in it! It’s like a little baby tanning bed for all your germy items!
