Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I’m loving this indoor/outdoor modern farmhouse home tour! Once we finally get to updating our indoor/outdoor living area, this home is providing major inspiration!

2 – I’m just starting to realize just how expensive bags/purses are for vacation/spring/summer styles. It’s basically like a full-on leather option for fall or winter which still seems odd to me. But, I’m loving this cute woven cross-body bag that is in the mid-price range. It’s practical, cute, and definitely has a warm-weather vibe! You can also use your Amazon Prime membership on this one to get free shipping and free returns.

3 – Guys, I legit panicked yesterday when I realized Kurtis’ work trip to Maui is only about two weeks out. I mean, it’s Maui so I can’t get too worked up, but I honestly hadn’t planned anything I was bringing. And since this time of year, I hate going out more than anything with the cold temps, I figured I had better get on some orders so they arrive in time! I went a bit crazy (or insane if you ask Kurtis), but I’m hoping even 10% of what I ordered will work. I ordered this cute chambray dress in two sizes because I really hope it’s one that works! I always struggle dressing for his trip because I want to be fairly conservative (which I typically am) but I also need everything from beachwear to dresses for assigned dinners to cocktail dresses. It’s a tough one to pack for! I have four events in the next two months that I need dresses for though, so I’m hoping I can find even TWO that will work! I’m also hoping this dress and this dress work.

4 – As part of my mad rush to get things here yesterday, I also ordered these navy espadrille sandals. They might be the cutest things ever, especially when you see them worn on the model. I had recently received a catalog that had a 20% off and free shipping/free returns code, so I finally place my first order with Boden. This is where I ordered the bulk of my items, so hopefully something works. I just feel like they had the best variety of items I was looking for for this trip. I’ll keep you posted on the other items! But, I figured shoes were a safe bet 😉 This pair also comes in red if that’s more your thing. I’m guessing they’re both amazing and total statement makers.

5 – Could these gingham plates be any cuter for spring?!? I love that buffalo check evolves into the smaller gingham print for spring so that I can love it all year long. These gingham plates also come in a larger dinner plate version, a pillow version and a napkin version. Consider me signed up for Easter, spring and summer!

Thanks Susan! We’ve actually been there several times and since this is for my husband’s work, nearly everything is planned out for us so we don’t have tons of free time. BUT it’s been six years since we were last there so I would love to hear any tips or places you love in case we can get away a bit! We’re also going a day early before it starts so we should have a little free time. We’re staying in Wailea. Thank you!!

How did the chambray dress work out? Would you say it runs true to size?
    Thanks!

I love it! I actually ordered it in two sizes (my regular size and one larger). I’m still deciding which one I’ll keep, as I love them both. But I do feel like the larger one is longer so I may go with that. The material doesn’t have much give so if you’re between sizes, I would order up. I hope that helps!
