Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week! Now that November 1st is here, I feel like the holidays are “officially” upon us and will take over the next two months! But, it really is one of my favorite times of the year!

1 – We’re headed to Maui in February and when I saw this beach house renovation, it had me dreaming of the warmer weather there. Especially since it snowed here yesterday! This cute cottage even has it’s own Instagram account and is available as a vacation rental home! Since our time in Maui is actually for Kurtis’ company trip, we’re looking to extend a few days and either hop to another island or find somewhere new to stay in Maui. We’re open to recommendations!
2 – I’m wanting to keep my holiday decor fairly simply this year (fingers crossed I can actually accomplish that). But, I’d love a few of these faux juniper trees with berries. With the cats, I try not to use fresh greens and these ones are gorgeous! I love that they are timeless and can be used for winter decor, not just holiday decor. I envision three lined up on a console table, mantle or as a table centerpiece for a pretty, yet simple look! I’ve also been contemplating a live olive leaf wreath for years (the cats can’t reach those!) and I think this year might be time to move forward. If you’ve ever owned one – I’m guessing you can dry these after the first year so you can still use them down the road??
3 – World Market is offering 40% off all furniture starting today (used code FURNSALE), excluding outdoor furniture. This is huge, as I’ve never seen them go higher than 30% off. My mom has this console table and I’m completely obsessed with it (and they now make it in a burnt alder and black finish too!). For the past year I’ve been on the hunt for a new table in our entryway, and maybe now is the time to go for it! Our office desks and our bar stools are also included in the sale.
4 – I’ve been on the hunt for a short-sleeved velvet top for fall and the holidays. I think I’ve finally settled on this flutter sleeve velvet top. It comes in four colors (including navy!) but I’m actually leaning towards this pretty olive color! This velvet turtleneck and this relaxed velvet top (I’d need to see this one in person to check quality but reviews are really good) were also on my “potential” list.
5 – I’m in love with this new watercolor botanical pillow! I think it could be used year-round when styled appropriately! I’m contemplating where to best use them before I select the size I want! You can see all of their recently launched pillows here. I’m also loving several of the striped options!

$70 for one accent pillow? And it’s not like you’d buy just one. At that price, I wouldn’t let anyone use them!

I agree the price is a bit crazy! The square ones I was looking at are slightly less (I think it defaults to the long lumbar price). But I really thought they were so beautiful and could be used year-round, so it may be justifiable in some situations. I also think you could do just one, similar to how they styled it in a few rooms. I’ll be on the hunt for a similar, less costly version, and will let you know if I end up finding one! I really love the look!

The velvet top also comes in navy blue? Totally getting it!
