Halloween Candy

Cats

I was very excited to buy Halloween candy today!

The husband and I went out for a lovely dinner tonight and came home to this chaos. I had bought six bags of Halloween candy {2 bags of Butterfingers, 2 of KitKats and 2 of Reese’s PB Cups} along with various groceries after coming home from work today. Apparently the cats {minus the angelic Bailey} have a favorite treat, just like their dad….Butterfingers.

They also took the brand new loaf of bread out of the bread box again {although now we are pretty sure it is Henley that steals it because I caught her doing it one day} and then proceeded to open both bags of Butterfingers and destroy/eat 11 pieces (one wrapper was on the floor and was completely eaten). I am pretty sure chocolate can be lethal to pets but they all seem to be very alive and content. I should have known better than to leave it all out on the counter, but seriously?!?

Wrappers of Halloween candy on the floor.
