floral headband

I finished up a floral headband tonight {I started it yesterday after I posted about the shirt}. I definitely need more practice, but I think this one turned out really cute too! Here are some shots of the supplies {notice I used a much wider variety of fabric than the t-shirt including chiffon, silk, broadcloth, muslin, etc.} to give it more texture. The headband part is just some grosgrain ribbon. The cost of this project was probably under $5 if you count the fabric I actually used {I still have a ton left over}. On this one, since I was using chiffon and some lighter fabrics than the t-shirt, I used a glue for fabrics that is supposed to help it not fray. I will definitely be making more of these ~ you all know I am a headband freak! And again, please disregard the frizzy hair/lack of makeup. I didn’t actually get styled for this photo shoot 🙂
