My Christmas master bedroom decor is very festive this year!
Today I’ve teamed up with a talented group of bloggers as part of a one-room Christmas tour called Deck The Halls Home Tour! Each day this week, we’ve seen tours of the entry/porch, living room, kitchen, and dining room. Now, today, another set of bloggers is sharing their stunning bedrooms all decked out for the holidays!
If you’re stopping in from my friend Jen’s blog, Decor Gold, welcome! I’ve long admired Jen’s stunning home and was so excited when I finally got to meet her in person at Haven this summer. I love her even more after having met her in person!
This year, I kept my Christmas decor fairly simple. I think I’ve finally gotten to the point where I hate spending the entire month of January boxing up holiday decorations even though this is my favorite holiday to decorate for.
For the most part, even though I’m a greens, blues and neutrals girl, I went with traditional holiday colors in our decor (you can check out most of our full Christmas home tour here). I’m loving festive red and plaids everywhere, but I’m sure come January I won’t see it again until next December.
Christmas Decorating
One of the main reasons I never show full shots of our master bedroom? I still haven’t painted the ceiling after nearly four years of living here. It desperately needs to be a pure white, but for now, I just squint and give heart eyes to the board and batten detail. #newyearsresolution
If you read yesterday’s post, you saw I recently added this cozy little sitting area to our master bedroom once the chairs lost their home in our office. The area where they sit now was previously bare and the room just felt empty. I’m loving this addition to our room!
The side table, driftwood tree, moss balls, glass vase and white star were all recent Gordman’s finds. I got the run and plaid pillows at HomeGoods.
I can’t lie. I’m loving all the red and plaid in our Christmas decor this year! It’s not fancy, but it’s a lot more decorated than I’ve ever done before. And I love it!
The paint colors on the walls are Sherwin Williams Sea Salt and Behr Swiss Coffee. I’ve affiliate linked to other sources below!

The next stop on the tour is my sweet friend Annie from Zevy Joy. Once you’ve checked out her bedroom tour, be sure to check out all the others’ along with the other gorgeous rooms that were earlier this week. So much Christmas goodness! Have a great weekend everyone!
