Christmas Home Tour: Office

Christmas, Home Tour

Come and take a peek at a tour of my office all decorated for Christmas!

Welcome to Part III of my Christmas home tour! Today I’ve teamed up with Lindsay from The White Buffalo Styling Co., along with several other bloggers, to share my decorated Christmas office as part of the Bloggers’ Stylin’ Home Tour!

If you’re stopping in from Nesting With Grace, welcome! This year for my holiday decor, I stuck with traditional red, green and plaid throughout our home. However, in this little section of our entryway along with my office (which is just beyond the entryway), I used bold blues and greens. They are my year-round colors and I didn’t want to neglect them entirely for the holiday season.

A buffalo checked rug in front of the front door with a chandelier on the ceiling.

The hallway beside the office with a sunburst mirror beside the door.

You can find all sources in the affiliate images below. The canvas in the stairwell is ‘It Is Well’ from Lindsay Letters. The wall color is Behr Castle Path and the door color is Behr Elephant Skin. All other sources below.

Earlier this year, I painted our accent wall in our joint his/hers office in Hale Navy (Benjamin Moore) and it couldn’t have been a better choice!  This color has created the perfect focal point and it also looks perfect with my gorgeous Lindsay Letters Indigo Ink abstract canvas.

The office with a navy blue wall, an abstract picture on the wall and wooden desks in the office.

Because our cats are deviants and tend to destroy traditional tree skirts, I used an extra throw that we keep on hand in the office for the tree skirt. I love the navy and ivory stripes!

A green, blue and purple Christmas tree.

A wicker basket with a navy blue throw and pillow in the basket.

I picked up most of the ornaments at Hobby Lobby while they were half off and I love the varying shades of blue and green. I actually think I’m pretty terrible at decorating Christmas trees (I basically know how to hang an ornament and that’s about it) but I still love how the tree turned out this year!

A blue and white skirt around the Christmas tree.

At night when we’re home from work and need to work in the office, we love to turn off the overhead lights and just work by the glow of the tree. I’m definitely glad I stuck with my favorite blues and greens in this room this year!

On the desk in the office there are ceramic white pineapples and a small lamp.

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find anything super close. I’ll continue to keep my eyes open though and let you know if I do find one!

You have done such a beautiful job on your home and are a great inspiration to me! I am in the process of choosing paint colors for our new home. It’s exciting and a bit overwhelming as it’s my first time ever. Would you mind sharing with me the other lighter color on your office walls? I love the combination.

Thank you so much! The other color is Behr Castle Path. It’s a great mid-tone greige color. This room has full windows/sliding doors on each side so it brightens it up a bit, but we really like the color!
