Budget-Friendly Fall Tablescape Inspiration

Entertaining and Party Ideas, Tablescapes

Fall is in the air, and with that, we love to take our meals outdoors! Today I’m sharing a luxe but simple and budget-friendly fall tablescape.

One of our favorite features of Florida living is the abundance of outdoor screened-in porches. Dining al fresco has always been a favorite, but now that we can do it without the nuisance of bugs, it truly is one of my favorite activities. Today on Instagram, I partnered with Better Home & Gardens to share a fun tablescape idea using some of their products from Walmart. You can see the video here if you like viewing in video format. I selected pieces that work well with a variety of decorating styles as well as meal types. So, let’s walk through all the details!

SOURCES: Stoneware Dinner Plates | Stoneware Salad Plates | Stoneware Bowls | Woven Chargers | Gold Flatware | Striped Jute/Chenille Table Runner | Drinking Glasses | Fringe Napkins | Candle Sticks | 3-in-1 Vase (includes two other colored bases) | Charcuterie Tray with Cheese Serving Tools | Faux Fall Stems | White Ceramic Vase | Hammered Glass Pitcher | Farm Apple Pumpkin Candle | Stoneware Serving Tray | Stoneware Serving Bowl | Outdoor Dining Chairs | Outdoor Dining Table | Outdoor Rope Chandelier

I love a layered look and prefer to use candles or cordless LED lamps on the table for evening meals. Such a simple addition that makes the meal feel so much more special! From there, I include items of different heights to create more interest, like the pumpkins and the floral arrangement.

By mixing a variety of textures, neutrals don’t have to be boring! I love that, by keeping the dishes and settings neutral, you can use them with so many color schemes for future meals.

I made this entire arrangement with flowers in the 3/$12 bunch section. I then added three leftover pears to the bunch by simply sticking them on wood skewers. By adding fruit, vegetables, or something unexpected to a floral arrangement, it instantly ups the glam factor! For this particular arrangement I simply used sunflowers, mini roses, and filler with the pears. I used this 3-in-1 vase (my new favorite!!) and was the only item on the table not from Walmart. The brand has since offered a discount code to my readers after I bought it – use LOVS20 for 20% off any item sitewide. The vase actually feels like 4-in-1 to me because you can also leave it plain without a collar at all!

This charcuterie serving tray is such a fun find! I love the built-in handles, and the fact that it includes the cheese serving tools. It’s great to use for parties or to use as a hostess gift. Here you can also see this stoneware serving tray and serving bowl that coordinate with the dishes on the table. Kurtis asked if he could have this Farm Apple Pumpkin candle in his office once we brought it inside. It smells heavenly and is the perfect fall scent! They have other sizes (and cute glass pumpkin versions) of the scent here.

These stoneware dishes are all so beautiful. They come in a grayish beige color, as well. I love to add fresh produce for interest in the tablescape. It’s an affordable way to add color. I’ve used everything from pears to plums to artichokes to apples and pumpkins for autumn.

There really is nothing better than meals outside in the fall!
