My hydrangea plant in our backyard {near the deck} is amazing. And if it hits the expected 9 feet high range, it will officially be the greatest plant of all time. These blooms are ridiculous! Unfortunately, I am about two weeks behind in photographing them so they are starting to die and their color isn’t as vibrant white {although they are still very beautiful!}.
Here was their bright white color two weeks ago {back when they were wee little babes at around 9″ in size}:
Bailey:
Hawkeye {This very well may go down in history as the best shot of him I have – not just because he moves too fast and is impossible to get to hold still – but it totally captures his personality. He is peaking through the deck steps while I am taking pictures of the hydrangeas. He has crap all over his face but as soon as you look at him or make a move, he is out there}:
Henley:
Turns out she was more interested in bopping the flowers and running around like a wild woman. Which really doesn’t make for the best photos:
This one with the sun flares was going to be amazing but you can see she holds still really well:
And here’s how most of hers really turned out. I wish I were kidding. In the back of your mind you should be hearing a voice that sounds something like “Mom, what are you doing? Huh? Huh? What are you doing?”:
The foursome. Oh wait, Henley is actually down in the yard eating grass while I am taking a picture….oops. And yes, our deck really needs to be re-stained.
