weather and a house tour

I’m usually not one to talk about weather, but when it means I can sit outside and enjoy THREE meals on a patio….I am in heaven!  It was total ideal conditions all weekend (high 70′s or low 80′s) which is a major reprieve from the 100+ weather we have had most of the summer!  We went to Dante Pizzeria Friday night {also saw The Campaign}, Cheeseburger in Paradise Saturday for lunch and then Ingredient for brunch after church on Sunday.  Love it!

Today we went and toured a house that I love, purely from a details perspective.  This is designed so well and not what you typically find in Omaha.  Transoms, coffered ceilings, Carrera marble, subway tiles, hardwood floors, gorgeous windows, arched doorways, board and batten – I was in love.  In a way it was much like our current floor plan {without a bonus room} but with SO much more attention to detail.  Such a cute and unique little house for Omaha with more character than I have seen in a long time!

And no, we are not necessarily in the market for a new house.  But we have had a lot of fun over the summer months touring houses and getting ideas.  I thought I would start sharing the fun ones here on the blog {plus we have the Street of Dreams coming up in September!}
