It’s the first Friday of the month, which means it’s time for our new Year of Change Challenge! In the month of October, our challenge is to make something out of fabric. The incredible Tonic Living is providing us with the fabric to use this month, and I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with. You know I’m a huge fabric hoarder so this month gets me extra excited.
In addition to the usual crew (me, Suburban Bitches, Commona My House and Rosa Beltran Design) we will be joined by the beautiful and talented Krystine Edwards! She has killer style, in both homes and her clothes. I saw her at Haven and although we didn’t get the chance to meet, we’re Instagram friends 🙂
I decide to step out of my comfort zone of pillows and window coverings and decided to do something totally different. Here are the fabrics I selected from Tonic Living.
Ming Dragon / Indigo Velvet / Monarch Trellis
I can’t wait to show you all what we came up with so check back in on October 24th!

Love those fabrics. How much fabric do you need for an 18″ X 18″?

Thanks! If you like a slightly more fitted look on your pillows, you could actually get by with 1/2 yard and that would still allow for front and back on the pillow. I hope that helps!

Thanks for answering my question.
