Good morning! I hope you’ve all had a great few weeks since I last posted. We returned home late last night after nearly a week in Anguilla and I have lots to catch up on. Here’s a bit of what we’ve been up to around here (and Anguilla) these past few weeks.

Home Projects & Updates
Prior to leaving on vacation, I started to photograph a few spots in our home to share in an upcoming spring home tour. I’m hoping to wrap up the rest of that photography this week and then plan to post next week if all goes according to plan!
With that, I added my favorite real-touch faux tulips to this scalloped marble wine chiller and love the instant pop of cheer it adds to our pantry. But I also realized after I took this that some of our grout and caulk cracked during the winter, so I need to touch that up 😉

These faux ranunculas I found are also really pretty!
This large white wood bowl filled with moss is another easy update for spring! I’ll probably move it to our coffee table, but like it here in my office for now!
I’m also loving the additional pattern and color this Striped Runner Rug brings to our kitchen for spring!

Around Town & For Fun
Prior to leaving town, we spent a lot of time catching up on work after our several weeks of visitors, doing taxes (yay) and prepping for our trip. But, we had a fun family trivia night at the beach club. It ended up being several of our favorite couples and a few of their kids. We didn’t win but we had a lot of fun! The sunset that night was insane!
We also had some quick work to wrap up at Hola Beaches the weekend before we left, so we headed to Raw & Juicy for breakfast. It has honestly been months since we had been which is crazy! It was fun to get back and for me to enjoy the beauty of Alys Beach architecture!
When I was working on photos for my spring home tour, I told the cats they couldn’t come into our bedroom. They basically do the opposite of anything I tell them 😉 They couldn’t be more dramatic with the way they spread out if they tried! Ha!

We left last Monday for Anguilla and returned home late last night. We had such an amazing time, and we couldn’t say more positive things about the island. Such an incredible place to celebrate our 15th anniversary (even though it was closer to our 19th anniversary thanks to the pandemic)! I plan to write up a full trip report so won’t share too many of the details in today’s post. But we’re already hoping we can make it back to Anguilla some day! I do have an Instagram highlight bubble with all of my Stories from the trip if you want to check it out since I know several of you were headed there in the coming weeks! I’m usually not a huge shoe person, but I’ll tell you what. This year the Target shoe department must have been targeting me because they have so many options I couldn’t resist. I brought most of these along with me on the trip and wore this pair and this pair the most. They all fit true to size and are rather comfy. In fact, our first full day on Anguilla, I wore this pair to dinner for the first time. We realized the restaurant was fairly close to the hotel, so we walked back and they were actually pretty easy to walk in for a distance! Based on this week’s top sellers, many of you guys loved all these shoes too!

Vacation is always amazing but we always love getting back to our routines (and the cats)!
Kurtis has some travel for work this week, which isn’t always fun coming off of a week away from home. But it should give me the opportunity to wrap up my spring decorating and home tour! Then our niece from Iowa will be coming into town this weekend to spend her spring break with us. We’re really looking forward to it!
