Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – This sophisticated Lexington Avenue apartment from Sarah Lederman Interiors makes great use of limited space (be sure to check out the hidden storage in the dining room). The home also proves you can pack a lot of pattern into smaller spaces, which gives such a luxe vibe that feels like anything other than apartment-like!

2 – J. Crew, per usual, is crushing the festive outfit game. I ordered this bow sweater and can’t wait for it to arrive! This fair isle sweater is another favorite for the season. I feel like both could feel very festive but also still be worn later into winter. Here are some other cute festive finds they have right now, many of which are on sale! All sources are below the graphic.

3 – I had every intention of sharing on my Christmas design boards with y’all yesterday, but my website (along with many others) was down most of the morning. So, I’ll be sharing that Friday! Instead, I spent the morning decorating and got quite a bit done! The hero of the day were these railing ties I decided to try this year. In the past, I had always attached my garland with zip ties. Not ideal, but it was always really secure and fairly easy to hide. But, sometimes they were cinched a bit too tight and the green would transfer from the garland, they’d dent the railing a bit, or they were a pain in the butt to attach (and ultimately remove). These railing ties are much more aesthetic and so easy to use! I attached everything by myself and was able to get one tie to hold two fairly heavy pieces of garland at each tie point. If you’re quick, I have an Instagram Story showing them in action that will still be live for a few hours. They come in a bunch of colors, but I used the gold so it would blend in with our railing. I also attached it differently than the stock photo shows. Rather than going over the garland, I just slid it through to hold it on the center of the garland so really all you see of the tie is the back side on the railing. There’s a number of ways you can do it. Highly recommended! They’re highly pliable, the satin-y rope is gentle on your railing and garland, and the wire is super strong so the garland doesn’t budget!
Here you can see just how discreet they are. If you add ribbon, they’d basically be invisible, but if you don’t they’re still pretty enough to look at (especially compared to zip ties or some of the velcro strap options I’ve seen).

4 – It’s no secret that I use a lot of wreaths during the holidays. I’ve collected a handful of these real-touch wreaths over the years and they’re still a favorite but the price fluctuates wildly throughout the season (I would not buy it right now at today’s price that also charges shipping). There’s a lot of great look for less options now, too (like this highly-rated version). Below I’m sharing a mix of other styles, of which I personally own this one (a new find this year) and this one (I hang on our range hood each year). If you’re looking for fresh wreaths Williams Sonoma always has many great options (the bay leaf is a personal favorite), and Serena & Lily has now added them, as well!
