Wednesday Watch List

Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – There are so many beautiful spaces in this Isle of Palms family retreat from Allison Elebash! There are so many fun spaces for entertaining and gathering. And how gorgeous is this ceiling in this great room below?

2 –  I shared a bit about Frank & Eileen in my recent random finds post a week or so back, but felt they deserved a proper spot in my Wednesday Watch List. I had first heard of the brand last year on Kurtis’ work trip. Several of the wives were raving about it and I was definitely in the minority having not tried any of their pieces yet. But I was very drawn to the effortless California casual vibes of many of their pieces. Very Nancy Meyers-ish vibes. I came home and checked their site and in all honesty, their prices had me not ready to jump in and order something. Fast forward a year, and my friend Rachel got this top and raved about it. She wears it all the time and it has washed so well! It just has that perfectly lived-in look. I ended up ordering this sweater (also here) from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale while it was on sale and really loved it. So I decided to order this top too along with this top this week to see if I love them equally as much – and it’s official – I do! This one is probably my favorite (I did the triple fleece in Navy French stripe). I’d say it all fits true to size but if you’re between sizes and want the look of the fit on the models, I’d go with your larger size. If you’re looking to move away from fast fashion a bit and into classic, investment pieces, they’re worth a look. They have a lot of really cute items in their sale section right now too. I ordered this blazer in XL, since I prefer jackets to have a bit of space for layering, but I need to return it for the Large (this is the only piece I went with my smaller size in). It’s definitely roomy – but so dang cute! Rachel and her mother-in-law both also own it and we’re all different body types and builds. I was also served a random Facebook ad yesterday, and with code CHEERS you can save 15% off your first order! Not sure how long the code lasts, but it’s worth trying if you have your eye on something too! Here’s a few other cute finds – admittedly they look much cuter on the model that the stock photos 😉

3 – It’s time for another save/splurge find! These splurge dining chairs have been a top seller at McGee and Co. for awhile now, and now you can get this save pair of chairs for less than half the cost of the splurge! The counter stool verisons, which I’ve linked below, look even more similar because the both have the lower bar!

4 – This hand soap from Courtney Cox’s company, Homecourt, is a total dream! I ordered the Mandarin Basille, which has notes of sparkling mandarin, fresh green basil and ripe fig. The scent recalls an uplifting and vibrant walk in the herb garden – earthy, sweet and so perfect for a kitchen! They use non-toxic formulas with skincare-grade ingredients, developed by cosmetic chemists. Nordstrom is currently offering 3x points on the soap for members (since it’s considered a beauty product), but if you prefer to order it directly from the brand you can do so here. So many of their other scents sound amazing too!

5 – One of my favorite brands, Business & Pleasure, has started their Labor Day Sale with code LDW20 and there are so many great finds! I ordered these umbrellas (which I hope to share before the weekend is over) to go in the scalloped umbrella stands we already own. They’re 53% off with the additional discount since they’re already on sale – and they’re one of the only brands I can find that make umbrellas with a white pole! I also grabbed one of their beach wagons (some colors/patterns are already 40% off plus the 20% off code stacks with it). Did you know tons of brands like Serena & Lily, Pottery Barn, Mark & Graham, etc. carry their products and sometimes affix their own branding? Their outdoor stuff is so legit and I’ve been a fan for years! They also carry actual furniture, pool floats, and more. You can check it all out here.

Business & Pleasure is also a favorite of mine! I have one of their beach wagons and it is awesome! They have these large plastic wheels that move easily through the sand and I can literally pile everything into the wagon to make one trip. I also have the cooler totes and picnic bags. Can’t say enough good things about them!

Yes! The wheels are so chunky and nice! My friend Katie has one so I had to order it too. Their stuff is made to last outdoors! Glad to hear you love them too!
