Wednesday Watch List

Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – As you can imagine with our new build, I have spent a lot of time this past month or so looking for inspiration everywhere. I have pinned more pins than I can count and many times it’s for one little detail in an image I love. I found lots of beautiful spaces in this home tour from Sarah Bell Design Studio. I love the pantry (I’m really going to try and make ours fun like this even though we won’t have a window) and the sitting area off the kitchen and dining area is a total dream!

2 – The highly anticipated Studio McGee x Tuckernuck collection launches today! Not only is Shea a design icon, but she also has an incredible sense of style. There are so many beautiful pieces in the 33 piece collection. I anticipate this one may go quickly!

Here are a few pieces from the collection I’m really loving. Tap any of the images below for more information on each item.

3 – If you love the look of oversized clamshells (like this one or this one that I have), this plastic version I recently bought is a steal! The exterior is more of a matte finish and the interior is shiny and a bit pearlescent. It’s so cute to use in decor, filled with ice and drinks for a party (it holds several wine bottles) or used as a catchall! For what it’s worth, they’re calling it a crab shell, but I think this is a clam shell, right? I’m planning to pair it with a few items I picked up here and I’ll plan to share it all in the next week or so.

Here’s a more stylized look at it. It’s actually kind of wild to me just how similar this tablescape is to the one I shared in last week’s Wednesday Watch List from H&M!

4 – I have been loving both seashell and fish shaped persons this year (and actually own a couple) and thought I’d share a few favorite recent finds! All sources are listed below each graphic.

And here are some fun seashell purse finds at various pricepoints!

5 – Many of you know I’m a bit of a candle snob and I’m really picky about scents. I tend to only buy them locally at boutiques so I can smell them in person ahead of time because I’ve found descriptions online can sometimes be misleading. But I finally decided to try a few scents from the viral Hotel Lobby Candle collection. In an effort to do a bit of research, I ordered the Island Candle, Hamptons Candle, and Poolside Candle. I really like all three of them! If I had to rank them in order, the Hamptons was the surprising leader followed by Poolside and then Island. But they’re all so great for different reasons. I’ve always wanted to love green tomato vine candles in the summer. The earthiness is so appealing, but every one I’ve tried, one thing here or there just felt off. But this one is so good (I think the mint or rosewater might balance it a bit). Regardless, they’re all very nice, the packaging is great (they each come with a hotel key card with instructions, which makes them fun to gift) and I feel like their descriptions were all very accurate. If you close your eyes and sniff, you really can picture boutique hotels in each of the locations smelling the same! You can see their full summer collection here.
