Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

Before we get started, I wanted to let you know we reviewed another design plan for our pool/backyard landscaping last night and my husband and I both said it was the first time we felt like a design was actually “us”. Like, it really got us excited for the process. Now to find the money to pay for it all…. I’ll share the plans with you soon, but I have a lot of exciting posts lined up already over the next week or so, so it will have to wait until after then. On to the list!

1 – My friend Erin over at the Suburban Bitches just slayed this farmhouse-inspired kitchen remodel. Talk about a stunning late 80’s/early 90’s kitchen makeover! I always love to see “real people” makeovers for those of us that live in reality and not the pages of a magazine. PS – why were decorative soffits ever a thing? I mean seriously!

2 – Perhaps the most beautiful plaid wool throw in all the home decor world. It’s pricey but I also feel it is a timeless item that would be loved for years. Be sure to also check out my fall throws for under $30 round-up if you missed it!

3 – A beautiful neutral home tour I think you’ll love! Shiplap walls, huge windows and french door and large iron lanterns can never be wrong in my book!

4 – I loved this article from The Decor Fix all about the Myth of a Perfect Home. It’s something we all need to read, absorb and all be grateful for what we have and the progress we’ve made at any given point in our homes and our lives.

5 – Plaid for fall is one of my weakness. This adorable plaid top (which comes in six colors and patterns) is currently on sale for just over $15!

I have a really fun party planning/entertaining type post lined up for both tomorrow and Friday that you won’t want to miss. See you then!
