Wednesday Watch List

Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

Before we jump into this week’s picks, I want to thank you for all the messages of concern about the approaching Hurricane Idalia. Thankfully, it appears the storm will miss us almost entirely. We aren’t expecting much more than winds and possibly some rain. We’re praying for our Florida friends and all those in Idalia’s path. Please stay safe!

1 – With this being the last Wednesday Watch List of August, I thought I’d share this home from Weeth Home that has cozy fall vibes. I’m so in love with this blue gray bar area, and the vaulted living room/dining space is a total dream!

2 – There are so many cute new arrivals at J. Crew Factory right now for fall! I’m loving this blue and cognac color combo right now – plus it’s all on sale, and they’re offering free shipping on every order today!

SOURCES: Chambray Dress | Fedora Hat | Cap Toe Ballet Flats | Knotted Headband | Houndstooth Blazer | Tweed Lady Sweater | Layered Necklace | Striped Ruffle-Collar Henley | Open Sweater Blazer | Corduroy Pants | Boots | Corduroy Blazer | Cable Cardigan Sweater | Wide Leg Jeans | Quilted Vest | Suede Mini Skirt | Plaid Skirt

If you’re not into traditional fall colors as much, I love these classic black and white and navy blue and white pieces!

3 – If you loved the little cordless, rechargeable LED table lamps I shared a while back, check out these adorable rattan lamp shades you can order for them! If you have a different brand, these will likely still work (they work on most with a 3″ empire shade). We plan to use our lamps on our back porch dining table quite a bit, so the second I saw these shades, I knew I wanted some. They’ve become so popular they’re now backordered until October, but they’re such a great way to dress up the little lamps! They’re instantly transformed from a bit modern to a bit coastal! This seller on Etsy has some really cute customizable options as well (including ones for larger lamps). I love all the scalloped ones, like this linen version and this raffia version!

4 – I ordered these faux oak leaves stems and am really happy with the quality! I love the addition of the faux acorns, but I especially love that these are a bit more muted fall colors. So many stems I see are a bit too saturated, which means these will work so much better for my decorating style! They’re rather large at 49″ high, so one or two goes a long way! I would argue there are very few vases that would need three, and most would need less.

5 – With today’s big move, we’re ready to fully stock our kitchen. I’m loving so many of the pieces in the Drew Barrymore Beautiful line at Walmart. Not only are they highly-rated, but they come in a variety of beautiful color options (even  more than shown below).
