Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that have captured my attention over the past week.

– I purchased this flushmount chrome and crystal chandelier for my craft room the other day. The four drum shades that I were used {shared in the craft room makeover post} were not practical for how we have used the room over the past year. My husband and I are jointly using this space as our workout room, as well, so the shades are definitely in the way when we workout {keep in mind I’m 5’8″ and he’s 6’2″ – not a lot of room for jumping jacks 😉 }. The new light will allow for the glam of a chandelier while only hanging down just over 12″. And honestly – I couldn’t believe it when I was able to buy it for less than $90 {shipped}! Finding attractive flush mounts is hard. Finding attractive, affordable flushmounts… nearly impossible. I’ll be sure to share the space once the new light is installed!
– This post from Emily Henderson about the Best Sources for Fabric Online may have changed my life. Because I really need more fabric in my life 😉 My friend Jill tipped me off to the post and I honestly spent a minimum of two hours pouring through several of the stores she suggests. I actually even made a purchase for the dining room makeover… cross your fingers the fabric is perfect and I can wrap up the space!
– If there is a Tory Burch sale any time soon, these leather and jelly sandals will definitely be in my basket. Although the florescent yellow isn’t exactly a neutral {the sandals come in two other more neutral colorways} I think in the summer, you can get away with matching it with a number of colors. The stitched detail on the ankle strap is really the part that sold me! I typically only buy one new pair of sandals each year, so I have to make them count!
– Love this image I came across on Pinterest for Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs. Seriously, who would have ever assumed you could get such gorgeous colors from natural sources?! Perfect for some last minute egg-dying ideas.
– I finished The Girl on The Train last week and it was really good. It was a much different read from anything I’ve read recently but it was definitely a suspenseful page turner. I’ve heard it compared to Gone Girl – which I’ve never read – so I can’t speak to any similarities. But, I did enjoy it for its uniqueness and addictiveness {even if it was a bit dark}. If you’re looking for a new book for your nightstand, I would definitely recommend this one.
