1 – This boozy peach ice cream recipe sounds like the perfect cold treat for the holiday week ahead! I’m off to the store to get the ingredients so we can try it when my family is here this weekend!
2 – The second I saw this blue and white block print maxi dress I fell in love! Every thing about it is so perfect for summer!
3 – Did you hear? Nordstrom launched their Anniversary Sale Preview catalog yesterday! You all know I hate when fall rolls around because it means winter is near, but since I was in junior high, this has been one of the few things that gets me excited for summer to end. So, it was fun to flip through the catalog yesterday and make my mental wish list for when the sale starts in a few weeks! If you’re not familiar with the sale, it’s so popular because you get sale prices before the season starts, rather than at the end of season! Most items aren’t even available for full-price purchase right now, but since things go out of stock so quickly it’s good to make a list ahead of time for what you know you’ll be buying! In addition to some clothes and shoes, one thing on my wish list is this Jo Malone fragrance kit (on page 69) filled with the best layering scent for my favorite scent of all-time! I feel like most of the clothes I end up really loving aren’t in the preview catalog, but there are so cute items already!
4 – So, random, but I’ve been searching high and low from oranges or tangerines with leaves still attached. So, when I found these faux tangerine branches, they were perfect for what I had in mind! Two or three in a pot instantly adds a summer vibe to any space and the green really helps liven things up. They also have a faux lemon branch option that’s equally as perfect, but $10 less per stem. And although they’re a bit smaller, I have these lemon branches that are really cute too! I found an even more affordable option here! Gotta love all things citrus in the summer!
5 – Slides are all the rage this summer, but I haven’t found that many that I actually thought were cute or didn’t look like gym sandals. But, this blue and white woven pair is darling and the price is right to try for the season!
