Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!

1 – I don’t know if I mentioned it on the blog or just Facebook, but before Christmas I subscribed to six or seven shelter magazines for only $5 each for a year (you can find several of the deals still here). I almost forgot just how much I enjoy flipping through magazines filled with pretty pictures (I’m over the gossip magazines and women’s magazines). In the latest Better Homes & Gardens, I was blown away by Julianne Hough’s home. You can see some of it here but the full tour is in the magazine, and it’s a total stunner! Here master bathroom was one of my favorite rooms, but unfortunately it’s not online. Isn’t her master bedroom beautiful though?

2 – I’m in need of an updated flush-mount light for the updates in my craft room and found a lot of cute options. But, this scalloped light fixture was by the cutest and is priced fairly reasonable (it comes in two sizes).

3 – I tried to order this pink anchor button sweater before Christmas but it sold out in my size (and almost every other size). But, apparently people didn’t like how bright the pink was and returned it. So I scooped it up yesterday while it was half off! I actually think the bright, almost neon, tone will be perfect for February and early spring! It’s still half off through the end of the day with code GOSHOP.

4 – I’m loving this chic iron and leather wine holder! The only real downside is that I usually have a lot more than four bottles of wine on-hand at any given point in time 😉 But, it would be pretty for a countertop display!

5 – I bought this lip polish a month or so back, and I’m obsessed. I try to use it before bed twice a week and I feel like it’s really made a difference in keeping my lips hydrated this winter! It’s not cheap, but a tiny bit goes a long ways and smells and tastes so good. I usually follow it up with coconut oil on my lips for extra hydration, but honestly, once you rinse it off, you ca definitely feel the coconut oil from the polish still on your lips. Now that I know I love the brand, I’ll liking get his lip conditioner or lip tint next! I’d also love to try some of their face masks, as well.

And thank you to everyone that offered their feedback on my Weekend Recap series. Sounds like you all enjoy it, so I’ll plan to keep it around. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

    Hi Sarah,

I’m studying interior design, any suggestions for student competition with an interior design/decorating slant to it?

    Thanks! B
