It’s hard to believe another year has already come to a close! But before we start on a new year of content, today I’m going to share the top 10 posts of 2018 based upon views/traffic. Not only that, I’ve teamed up with Cami from TIDBITS and 25+ other home decor and DIY bloggers to link up all of our top posts for the year. Which means loads of inspiration for you for the new year!

In true countdown fashion, I’ll starting with my top 10 post and then counting down to #1. The ranking is based solely off on my Google Analytics that tells me the pages that were most viewed out of all of my posts I wrote in 2018 (all 223 of them)! Let’s get on to the countdown!
10 – My post on my favorite sources for designer throw pillows and fabric seemed to resonate well with my readers! So often, I find posts in the top 10 list that were popular because of Pinterest. But this post was more from the initial post and reader reactions. Those are my favorite kind!
9 – Another reader favorite – my review of the best knock-off Darlana pendant lights! I had written a post in 2017 about various knock-off options, and then in 2018 I purchased various finishes of the best knock-off so I could review them all for you in person! Sure enough, there were a few surprises that aren’t readily viewable from stock photos! You can read more here.
8 – I was happy to see this California Modern Farmhouse Home Tour make the list! This was a 2018 Omaha Street of Dreams house, and the designer asked me to take photos before it opened to the public. I actually have a similar post about a different Omaha home going up in the next week or two and can’t wait to share that one with you as well! Take the full tour of the California Modern Farmhouse here.
7 – If you’ve followed me for any amount of time at all, you likely know that summer is by far my favorite season! And our 2018 summer home tour made the list of favorites for you as well! You can take the full tour here.
6 – Followed closely after our summer home tour is our spring home tour! I don’t know if it was a mix of readers ready to change decor after winter or the fact this one had more time to marinate on Pinterest, but our spring home tour came in strong! You can take the full tour here.
5 – This past summer, we painted our house Benjamin Moore White Dove and the exterior paint reveal was definitely a reader favorite! Our house went from dark brown to a warm, creamy white and the difference was unreal! It especially made a difference in our backyard since there isn’t any stone facing on the walls. You can see the full before and after post here.
4 – Year after year, our fall home tour performs extremely well. Which is funny because it’s usually my least favorite to prepare for! I hate seeing summer end (even though I do actually like fall). This year, our fall tour included simple touches and mostly neutral decor and I love how it turned out. You can take the full tour here.
3 – My Pottery Barn York Sofa review comes in at number three this year! I’m guessing that’s because there are so few reviews out there online! I plan to add some additional content to the post, but as of now, we are still in love with our sofas! We’ve had a number of spills and should-be-stains come right out (thanks to that Crypton fabric) and we couldn’t be happier with the purchase! You can read our full review here.
2 – Our coastal kitchen reveal was my favorite project of the year, and it came in at #2 for most viewed blog posts in 2018! The project was definitely a labor of love and we couldn’t be happier with the final result! It’s completely changed the look of the main floor of our home. If you missed it, be sure to check out the kitchen reveal post, as well as our kitchen remodel FAQ post with tons more photos, measurements and more!
1- And, the #1 post of the year is the one I wrote on the best exterior white paint colors! Apparently I’m not the only one that has struggled to pick the perfect white paint color for our house. And as a reminder, you can see how it turned out in our reveal post above (#5). It sounds like a lot of people are interested in white houses so it will likely be an ongoing trend in 2019!
I hope you enjoyed this look back at my 2018 posts! Now please take a minute to check out my DIY and Home blogger friends top posts in 2018! This is the very best the web has to offer!
