The husband has us on a pretty tight budget around here lately.  So, he will only let me buy things for myself and/or the house if I can sell something to pay for it.  Little did he know, I took his words to heart.  I sold six of my purses on eBay last weekend and miraculously made enough to buy these three items plus a little extra!  Maybe this isn’t such a bad idea!

Pottery Barn Celeste Chandelier {this has been on my list for about a year but found it on eBay for a discount with free shipping – I couldn’t resist since Pottery Barn charges $35 for shipping alone plus another $75+ for the light}
Maybe my mom could lend me her dining room set so I could get the full look 🙂
Next up, I got this gorgeous chandelier from Overstock – I love that it mixes both the oil-rubbed bronze and chrome – perfect for the room I have selected it for!
And lastly, my sunburst mirror from Z Gallerie that I blogged about here:

I am shocked to know that I could get so much cash for one new and five used purses!  Its amazing what people will pay for name-brand items {and clearly they must not have outlets nearby or they could get the same items for new in most cases}.  I am sure you are surprised to hear that I have another four purses ready to be listed tomorrow.  I could really use two of these! 🙂

Or maybe one of these

The husband will likely put an end to all this selling when he realizes how many lights he has been conned into wiring and hanging!  But for now, I am really enjoying this little exchange game!  And I can’t wait to show you the progress in our bonus room.  We hope to have the project wrapped up entirely in the next two weeks so rather than give you a play-by-play you can see the full reveal.  It will be a good one!
