Happy Memorial Day! I want to start off by saying a big ‘thank you’ to all the brave men and women that serve, or have served, our country. One of my favorite things to do outdoors when the weather turns warmer is to eat outside. My parents were in town for the holiday weekend, so my mom and I set up a fun outdoor dining tablescape one of the evenings and I love how it turned out!
These embroidered outdoor pillows were the foundation of the color scheme. I loved the woven details and the pretty colors – just what our neutral chairs needed to look less drab!
I am completely obsessed with these Aegean Melamine plates and bowls. Not only are the colors gorgeous and really saturated, but they actually look like really pretty ceramic and not plastic! I ordered the 11″ plate along with the bowls. I added the Madras Chargers to fancy things up a bit and add some texture to the tablescape. The striped napkins tied into the pillows and plates/bowls and I felt like the seersucker was the perfect touch of summer! I love that I can use the acrylic stemless wine glasses for dinners in the courtyard or around the pool later this summer.
I always love to have outdoor throws on hand (especially for nights roasting marshmallows and making S’mores). I’m sure you’re all shocked to know I fell in love with this outdoor striped throw (I got both the navy and the blue versions).
A super easy, yet beautiful setup that looks perfect for summer entertaining!
