Does anyone remember back when we realized Henley was using my live fiddle leaf fig planter as a litter box?! We’ve learned several lessons about why fresh won’t work for us over the years, so I’ve focused a lot on finding good fauxs. Today I’m sharing an affordable faux (fruitless) citrus tree I’ve purchased a few times now that comes in many shapes and sizes.

One of the things I appreciate most about shopping on Wayfair is their volume of reviews. I also love that they allow customers to upload photos with their review. This feature has helped me immensely over the years to either purchase or not purchase items I was considering. The reviews can also go a long way with faux florals and trees! I’ve found that it really helps me to understand the coloring and tone of the items, and sometimes more importantly, the scale.
Today I’m sharing a tree I’ve purchased twice now, in two different sizes. We’ve actually had this faux citrus tree (in the 8′ size) in our living room since I took down our Christmas tree after the first of the year. I’ve been really happy with it and love the pop of green it adds to this otherwise boring corner.

I had used a smaller version of the tree (the 5′ size) in our last home (it’s currently in my office) and loved it so much, I ordered the larger version for our living room! I currently have this smaller one in my office on the floor but loved how it looked as a dramatic centerpiece on our old console table! They also have a 4′ version if the 5′ feels intimidating for this purpose.
Never be alarmed when faux florals or faux trees. To save on shipping expenses, most come in relatively small boxes! But, if you order one with wired branches, you can get them looking full and life-like in very little time! This is from the day I opened the 8′ tree – you’d have no idea that is what was inside!
Here’s another angle of the 10′ tree once fully assembled and fluffed. It helps fill this corner so nicely! One thing to note. The branches are wired, but with the sparsity of the leaves, can be a bit floppy. So in this case, I would order maybe a 1′ taller size than you envision because it’s truly only that height if you lay it flat and the branches are flat. Once you bend them to look more natural and organic, you’ll probably lose 6-12″ of that height.
