My new hallway sconces are an upgrade from previous ones and completely changed the vibe!
Today is an exciting day! Not only did I finally upgrade our new hallway sconces I have an exciting giveaway for you guys at the end of this post! Also, if you’re looking for the Pretty Project Party, note that it is also up at the same time, one post prior!
As a reminder, here’s how our entryway hallway looked before.
I never loved those particular sconces, but they were cheap and a huge improvement from what was originally there, as is evidenced by my before ‘before’ photo below.
A few weeks back I shared my favorite swing-arm sconces as I prepared to make changes in the entryway. I ultimately ended up going with these sconces in the polished nickel finish because they were on sale and the exact look I was going for!
I’m not going to offer a full tutorial on installing light fixtures (trust, me there are plenty out there that are likely better than anything I could offer). But I’ll share a few progress shots. Too bad you can’t see my giddy smile on the other side of the camera 😉 New light fixtures are one of the more exciting things in life for me.
We used my new BLACK+DECKER 20v MAX* Lithium Cordless Drill that I got a week or so ago. We’ve actually used it on numerous projects already. I had to laugh because Justin, our landscape designer, helped us re-install a fence panel after sod came earlier in the week and he said it was one of the coolest drills he’d ever seen. I think he was surprised when I told him it was mine 😉 I love that it’s smaller and more light-weight than all the other drills we have – perfect for smaller scale projects. I also love that it has a built-in light! It worked like a dream for this project.
And here’s how the new hallway statement sconces look installed!
I love that they don’t look as squatty as our other ones and fill the space so much better. It’s safe to say that I’m in love with them!

Love that this drill is smaller and lighter! That would for sure come in handy because I can never hold my husband’s drill for long enough :). I would love to use this drill to repurpose a gifted dresser. I need to create new holes for new knobs!
As a side note/question, you always have the best pictures of your house. Sometime would you mind sharing what camera you use and/or settings to get that crisp and light look in your home? iPhone never seems to cut it :). Love your blog!
Lisa Brown says
I like the the 11 position clutch to help prevent the stripping screws or damaging material. I would use the drill to make a frame for a picture I have been procrastinating to frame for a while now. Thanks for the chance 🙂

Ashley Blank says
I love that it’s much lighter than my husband’s drill. My arm gets tired so quickly using it!
Jen M says
The LED light is a brilliant idea. We need to switch out some bathroom fixtures and we’d need some sort of flashlight in order to see what we’re doing!
Stephanie Schwartz says
I like the compact size, my husbands is so bulky. And the light is a really smart feature! I would use this to help put together my little boys new ‘big boy’ room!
Melanie cook says
I refurbish old furniture with chalk and milk paint to resell in my store. I am forever taking off doors, handles and redrilling for new hardware.
My drill now is heavy and large. With the lighter and more compact model the drill would fit into all those tight spaces!!!
Marty@A Stroll Thru Life says
Love your new sconces. They look amazing.
Wow, the tools would really come in handy as you know I am in the middle of a kitchen makeover and new flooring. Being lightweight is perfect for me.
Vel says
It looks fabulous there! Like I mentioned before I used a similar sconce in my son’s room and love it! Yours look perfect! That drill really seems handy, I would probably use the drill for updating my bathroom fixture in the guest bathroom since it seriously needs some updating asap!
latanya says
I like the An 11 position clutch helps prevent stripping screws or damaging material and I would use to build some shelves on the wall
Vickie says
I love how long the battery last between jobs. Nothing worse than getting ready for a project only to find that your drill needs to be charged. The size and weight are an added bonus! I need this to install a new closet organizer for one of my bedroom closets.
Rachel says
I love that it’s a lighter drill. Most of the other drills that I’ve used are heavy and it takes a toll on your arm. It’s also great that the drill has a light on it. I plan on building some outdoor furniture for our patio, so this would come in handy.
P.S. I love your blog. I love the weekly pool updates and your Wednesday watch lists.
Liz says
I love that the drill is so lightweight! I’d use to hang new curtains in our bedroom – ALL BY MYSELF.
Stephanie says
First, I love the new lights, they look great!! Second, my favorite thing about the drill is it’s more compact size, it would be easier to use than my current one that feels like it weighs 10 pounds!! I have some DIY art projects that this would be perfect for, thanks for the giveaway!!
Lisa G. says
I would gift this to my husband to use for all of the projects on the ‘honeydew’ list 🙂
Ruth says
I have just started to restore and make furniture and accessories. This light weight drill would be wonderful for my arthritic hands. Thank you for sharing all your updates. I enjoy reading your blog and seeing the beauty that you create!
Stephanie D. says
The fact that it is so much more compact, 35% is huge in my book! I would use this to hang floating shelves in our soon to be remodeled master bath!
Sandy A says
I like the light weight so much less aching arm, and LED lighting…
Kathy P. says
I would love to use it to put scounces like yours in my bedroom. I have so many projects I could use it for.
Janice C says
I love that the drill is small and lightweight! My husband’s is so heavy and hard to use. This would be perfect for me. I need to get some shelving up in my sewing room of our new home and would love to use this drill! Thanks for the chance. Great sconces!
katie says
I like that the drill is lightweight and has a light. My husband’s drill feels massive and makes my arms tired. I would love to use this to make a new storage pantry for my laundry room!
Jim Hess says
Those sconces look Great! When I saw them the other day I was looking forward to seeing them up. I needed to see them up because I had not seen that type of sconce in a entryway, but they work perfect! I figure you don’t have too many men commenting on your page, but I do follow you and love your house. Dream home for me! Have a Wonderful Day!
Jennifer Rote says
I like that it is compact and light weight. Great to reach those awkward places. I’d use this when I re-face my cabinets.
Janell C. says
I like the big battery in a small package! 2.5 lbs for drill that is powerful enough to actual do something with is awesome! If I win this, I would look forward to fixing up my an antique chair from my great grand mothers house, installing the new knobs for my vintage dresser, hanging some art that has been resting on the floor for far too long!
I’m a new reader to your blog, which I found through Pinterest. Great work!!
Ei Con says
The lighter weight and longer lasting battery are the selling points for me. I’ve got a closet makeover in progress and this drill (and the circular saw) would really help. The new sconces are fabulous!!
Kim Torpey says
Love the size and weight of this drill. Mine is 100 years old and weighs a ton. I would use it on all of my projects!
Stephanie Phelps says
I love the LED light illuminates the project surface. It gets hard to see in some of those tight spaces!
Trista says
I love those sconces. They look so nice in your space. The drill is awesome. I can barely hold up the drill my husband has, so the lighter weight and smaller size would be helpful.
Chris Dowling says
I like the size and light and that there’s no plug – that can get in the way. I’m moving soon and this will help with all the upcoming changes!
Susan Johnson says
Oh that drill!! A lighter version of the big, bulky things I always see and it’s cordless…If it were pink, it would be perfection
!! The longer lasting battery is truly the cream on top. I get so frustrated putting off a project, to wait for the darn thing to charge. I am in the middle of redoing my pantry and the light to illuminate the working area in a tight, dark space would certainly come in handy.
sydney85 says
So many great features. For me the ability to fit in tighter spaces (behind appliances, inside cabinets, inside closets, etc.) is fabulous. This drill would make all those projects a piece of cake!
Laura C says
I like that this drill is much lighter than the one my husband uses. I have a hard time holding ours up for an extended period of time without my arms wobbling. I want to hang a gallery wall in our bedroom with a mirror in the mix.
LMarie says
We’re moving into our first home later next month. I would love to use this for hanging all of our wall art and decor.
Jessica Brennan says
I like the smaller design. We have some fence repairs to make and that would be a good project to stay using this on.
Maren Lakers says
Thanks for the giveaway! Those sconces are beautiful! I about choked on my gum when I saw the price of the first one!! 🙂 We live in District 66, so our home is pretty old and we’re constantly doing updates…currently working on remodeling the mater bathroom! We will be putting up huge mirrors and I’m going to put trim and molding around them, so this drill would be perfect for that! Thanks again for the giveaway. The sconces look GREAT!
Wendi says
I love that it’s lightweight and has the led light. We are (somewhat) nearing the end of remodeling our entire main level and I can’t wait to start hanging pictures/art. This would definitely come in handy!
nadine says
I like that it is smaller to fit a woman’s hand better. I have used tools since I was in diapers helping my dad build things. He still helps me out now at 76 years old. I now have osteoarthritis in my hands and can’t hold weighty items for a long time so this would be ideal. Even if I don’t win I will still go look at them and see if there are more tools they are making that are light. I have always used Blacker and Decker so I’m happy they are doing this!
Lynne T says
I am excited about the LED light to illuminate the surface of the project.
Sherry Fram says
I love that it is lightweight & compact! I would use both make a table & chairs for my patio!
Crystal says
I love the idea of a light weight drill/driver so we can have a “his and hers” in our household. My husbands is rather heavy and much easier for him to handle.
Christine says
I want a new drill so badly! I love that this one is lightweight and cordless. I still have my very first drill from when I went off to college, but it’s heavy and I have to drag out the extension cord every time I use it. We are moving in a few months and I know I will be drilling a ton in the new house — hanging drapes, shelves, etc. etc.
p.s. Love the new sconces!!
Erin @ Her Heartland Soul says
I would give the drill to my dad! He’s super handy. All your updates look fabulous!
Meg @ Green With Decor says
I love the drill! I’d use it to hang light fixtures and curtains!
Shannon Howard says
Its so compact!! But, most of all…It would be mine and not have to borrow my husbands so I know where it would be at all times. My first project would be a rack for my daughters medals.
Tami says
I love this drill!! The fact that it is cordless, has a keyless chuck, is lightweight & has a light!! What more could a DIY girl ask for!! Definitely need to get this. My husband bought one for the house & while I am tough, it is just to heavy to be comfortable. I would use it for all of my many projects that don’t seem to get done on the “honey-do” list!!
Jaclyn Lorimer says
Exciting! I’d be thrilled to have one with a light for some patio projects–I always seem to get creative and productive late at night, so the light would be a big help!
Your new sconces look great!
XO, Jaclyn
Chrissy McCabe says
LOVE that it’s lightweight – I get my arm workout at the gym!!! Love the convenience of the battery power… About to take on my bedroom renovation and it would come in SO SO handy!!!
Renee says
I love that it’s lighter weight! We are going to start a remodel in our bathroom and this would work great!
carol clark says
An LED light is my fav feature and id build a gate for my garden a wooden one just a small one not a big one the dogs are eating my plants so id also build a bench to sit on out of some old wood i got from a shed last year
cindy says
The 11 position clutch impressive! That’s my favorite feature because how many time are the walls and corners and ceilings damaged form the drill not fitting in the space. Thanks Black and Decker! I look forward to my next curtain rod install ( currently sitting in our newly redone guest room). Many many thanks B&D.
Brenda says
I’m a newbie when it comes to woodwork but I’m gathering supplies to build a few picture ledges. Needless to say my tool situation is scarce/sad! I would love to own the drill for this project and others to come!
Lynn says
I like that is it lightweight and easy to handle. Buying a condo so would come in handy with the upcoming projects.
Kim says
I love how lightweight the drill is and the great light. I would love to start doing some of these hanging projects on my own. Love your blog. It’s my go-to home decor inspiration blog.
Julie says
Well this drill looks like it’s just what I have been needing. I love that it is smaller, and lighter weight than some other brands. That it has a light is also pretty cool so I can actually see what I am doing! I would put it to good use around here as we remodel our home one room at a time.
Love your new light sconces. And your pool.
Danyelle says
I’m excited about 11 position clutch to help prevent the stripping screws since I always seem to strip a screw or two so anything to cut down on time and frustration is a win!
Vicki Glenn says
A much lighter drill and one with a light! Score! Would come in handy building our new deck!
Kelly D says
I am excited about the LED light which illuminates the project surface. I would use this to install shelving in our garage.
Wendy Paoletti says
I love how lightweight it is only 2.5lbs! Our drill right now is so heavy it is almost impossible for me to use. Or maybe a sign I need to go the gym lol. I would use it to finally finish my laundry room built ins.
Sharon says
I like that it’s cordless and lightweight. I’ve got an arbor all planned out in my mind that I would use it on.
Vicki Leonardo says
ok, best feature is that it is small and light. We have a drill but it is so heavy for my hands. I may just have to get this one even if I don’t win. I want to install a counter above my new laundry machines
Christine A says
I really like the light weight, compact design, and the lithium ion battery, because of how long the last between charges. I just bought a new house and this would be used a ton assembling our furniture and hanging art on the walls… and curtains. 🙂
Stephanie Grant says
I’m loving the 11 position clutch to help prevent stripping of screws. I’m horrible when it comes to stripping screws with my current drill.
Chelsea G says
This drill would have totally come in handy a couple weeks ago when we were putting together a desk! The compact size is what intrigues me because so many projects we’ve done involved wedging the drill in a small place.
Annette says
I like this feature: An 11 position clutch helps prevent stripping screws or damaging material.
With my current drill I have stripped so many screws.
Suzanne says
I love that it’s smaller and light weight and of course the light is really helpful too!
Tracey says
New to your blog this week and seriously have visited daily since finding it! Checking in on my lunch breaks and before bed! I’m just getting my home decorated how I really envisioned it and now seeing all your blues and greens has me wanting to start all over! LOVE LOVE LOVE your pictures, they are so crisp and clear! If I win the drill, I will FINALLY get my kid’s senior pictures hung! They’ve been propped up in my bedroom since the first one graduated in 2008! Embarrassing! I was afraid to attempt it with just a nail and hammer! This would be great to have for all the redecorating I might have to do also, lol!
Heather S says
The built in light wins me over. It makes it so much easier to see what your doing!
Jill says
I like the lighter weight of the drill and the compact size. My husband’s drill tends to be very heavy and bulky and my “mini” drill sometimes does not have the “oomph” to get the job done. I plan on making a mantel for my fireplace, paint some cabinets, and build a raised garden bed …all of which would benefit from this drill!
I love the lights! Great choice!
Lynn F says
Love that it is compact and lightweight. And that LED light! And also that it helps prevent stripping the screws (I have some problems with that).
I have two new curtain rods for my TV room that I have been avoiding hanging for over a month now because I just can’t bear the thoughts of climbing up with a heavy drill – that would definitely be the first of many home improvement projects.
Laura Williams says
I am impressed at the power of this drill the most! I also like that it is compact and can get into those tight, awkward spaces. We have a list of projects that this would be super handy for. First up, a new front porch!
Anita Beaumont says
Compact, lightweight AND it has a light. What’s not to like?! I envision using this drill on many projects, but mostly as my go to for quick fixes/installs. Thanks so much for the contest! Anita
JENNIFER NORRELL says
Love that it is small & light weight with a LED light!
BTW…your pool & backyard are looking awesome!!!
Rachel says
Lightweight and compact–I like others can’t hold a heavy drill for long. I just finished a closet project and need to complete it–this Black and Decker drill would help with that!
Stacy says
I love that it is smaller and lightweight. I’d use it for all of my furniture redo projects I seem to get myself into and since I constantly change my wall decor, I’d love it for that too!
I’m in love with those new sconces! You have amazing style!
marly z. says
I love the sconces and want some on either side of our bed to save table-top room. The drill looks wonderful. Love that it’s lightweight and won’t make my wrists ache.
Kristen Woolsey says
What an amazing drill!! My husband and I are about to start doing a complete reno of our guest bathroom. I can think of a million uses in that project! Black and Decker is so great, and I love that this drill is light and compact! I get intimidated by tools, but I feel like I could handle it!
Shannon says
Love the compact size! Definitely could use this for hanging window treatments!
Ashley C says
I’d love to use this drill for our bathroom renovation!
demureprincess7(at)gmail(dot)com
Laura M says
I’m not sure which I like best- the light weight or the light! We’ve got so many projects waiting in the wings but I believe the first thing I want to use this lovely on is our under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen. The light weight makes it easier to use in that awkward position you need to be in when you lean over the counter and reach under the lower-hanging cabinets. My kitchen will be both brighter and prettier. Thanks for a great give-away chance!
Mellena says
I love that it has an LED light. Now I can see when working in those fall corners of the basement trying to build a rec room.
Melissa Storms says
My favorite feature would be the LED light. The fact that is lighter than other drill drivers is also a huge plus for me.
Melissa Storms says
I hit enter too soon! I would love to have this to help put new runners in my sons dresser.
theresalh says
Love the LED light and the size! We are updating our 80’s ranch and have many lights to install. These would come in handy!
julie says
the act that it can fit into small spaces
Jessica Graverholt says
I LOVE how lightweight and compact the drill is and how easily it will fit into compact spaces. But, my favorite feature is that it will help prevent me from stripping screws. I’m forever doing that… 🙂
Kim says
The new lights look fantastic. They give your entryway a more modern look and dress up the space with their sleek design! As for the drill, I love that it’s lightweight and has an LED light included. You’ll find that as you age, both of these features will come in almost as handy as having the drill! I just moved and am turning my previous house into a rental, so I have a gazillion ( I kid you not!!) projects that it could be used on!
Evie B. says
I would use it to make extra shelving for my kids’ rooms for books and miscellaneous toys!
Kristi Einan says
Love the smaller size and lighter weight of the drill. A cordless circular saw would be great!
Thanks for offering this giveaway, Happy Summer!
megan says
Since I live in an old home I like the 11 position clutch feature to prevent stripping screws.
Valarie says
The compactness and light feature would come in handy while I’m installing organization and storage solutions in my kitchen cabinets. It’s tight and dark in there!
Emily B says
I love that it is lightweight and has a light. I have a nice list of uses for it when we move into our next home in a few months! I’m starting to build up my toolbox again since some of my tools have disappeared into my husbands toolbox. 🙂
David says
I like the keyless chuck. I have an old corded drill that requires the key, so this would be an improvement in more ways than one. I have always wanted to have some TV trays for those times when we eat dinner in the living room, so I would use these tools to make that. Ideally I would make folding tables, but my skill level may not be ready for that.
Carole B. says
I LOVE the LED light to illuminate the work surface – helps so much for those of us who are graduating to reading glasses and can’t see anything! I have a bizillion pictures to hang in my gallery wall.
Ericka says
Your new sconces look great! I love that the drill is lightweight and compact…makes it easier for me to do projects on my own, with my hubby 🙂 I would love to use this drill to install some new shelves in our bathroom!
HilLesha O'Nan says
I learned that it provides the power needed to complete most household tasks. I’d use it for various tasks, including hanging pictures and my new blinds. Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
Tracy says
I love the size and the light on this drill. I became disabled 4 years ago. I am unable to leave my house very often. My saving grace has been painting old furniture and completing some small diy projects. I have been having so much fun trying new things. This drill is the perfect size and weight for my projects!
Thank you for the giveaway!
Janice R. says
I would like to build square shaped accent wall shelves and paint them a nice shade of green for my bedroom. I think they would look nice and would be great for displaying and storing items. I love that it is cordless!
Linda says
Thank you for the opportunity to win these compact tools.. I have too many projects to list that i could use these for they look perfect for a lot of jobs.
Michael K. says
Ergonomic design and light weight is what i like about these drills but of course the LED light,is a great feature. The 2-speed drill can take on tougher projects.
I will surely use these drills to build a gazebo and repair the fence around the house.
Bree says
I like that the drill is lighter weight and compact. This would be great for all the house projects on my list! Up first would be hanging new curtains and some shelving that I have been procrastinating on!
Christine says
That’s it’s light in weight as well as the LED Light. Awesome idea!
Alicia says
I love the fact that this drill is more compact! I feel I can never get quite the right angle when using my husband’s bulky drill! I would love to use it to make your DIY outdoor couch you featured in last month’s “DIY housewives”!
Laurajj says
What I really love about it is the 11 position clutch helps prevent stripping screws! I think the first project I would do is a couple raised garden beds. I container garden, but would love to make a few raised beds to give the vegetables more room to grow.
linda says
the fact that I could use it on all of my projects this summer is amazing.
Amy Orvin says
I love the led light on it and would love to use it while installing blinds.
Vidya says
I love how compact/light it is!
Johanna Enriquez says
First of, LOVE your home!! So fresh, airy and sunny.. I’m so jelly!!
Secondly, I would LOVE to own this drill because I’m starting to build my own tool set! We recently moved into our new home and I’m taking notes from your blog on different projects. I’ve already done several. However, my husbands tools are too rugged and bulky. This is great because it’s cute and small. Thanks for the opportunity! ????
Beverly Troup says
I am the “handy woman” in our home. We have a corded and a cordless drill which are both heavy for a woman. The size and lighter weight on this one are very appealing. Plus, I really like the Black and Decker brand. I would be most appreciative.
Ellen Casper says
I like the lightweight feature and it would be great to have to build a pergola out back.
Megan CC says

Kara says
Love that it is small and light for our little rowhome. We are expecting next month and have some more things to hang up on the walls. Would love this!
Haley Waltz says
I love the fact it is lightweight and that the keyless chuck allows for easy bit changes because I am forever dropping the bits when I am trying to change them out. Honestly I am usually on a ladder trying to change the bits out which makes it even worse when I am dropping them everywhere!!! We have been in our house for almost three years and I would love to finally get some curtains hung!
GwenB says
I love that the drill is smaller and light. Much easier to use to get jobs done without killing your arm and wrist when in awkward positions.

Super light means I could actually use it as opposed to my husband’s clunky one! I’ve long admired your laundry room re-do and that’s what I’d love to tackle in my home!
megan says
I love the lightweight feature!
Roxanna says
I like that it is lightweight and compact. Thanks for the giveaway!
June Lisle says
What I love about the drill the most is how small it is and light weight. I have small hands and live in a small place. I would use the drill for things like hanging pictures or when I replace things like towel racks.
Becky S says
What a cool drill! I love the size of it and the LED light. I’d keep this drill in my house because my husband keeps all the tools way back in his workshop barn. Whenever I need him to help me hang something, the drill is conveniently dead or too far away. Would love it!
Courtney C says
I love that it would be easier to handle than my hubbys. I’ve skipped a few projects because I’ve been intimidated by his so I’d probably start with an easy project like repositioning the curtain rods to where I actually want them.????
Genevieve says
Thank you for the giveaway! I really like the ability to change out the bits. I like the fact that it’s compact for tight spaces. We are planning on adding some built ins in our laundry room and this would come in handy!
Melissa says
Love the long lasting battery. I’m working on replacing the light fixtures in my house.
Ruth says
Would love to own some new tools to help me in my new endeavor to restore furniture. Thank you for all your inspiration!
Meagan Bailey says
I love that it is lightweight and would use it to hand shelves in the master bathroom, and pictures above the master bed. Also, during our most recent home project, the contractor walked away with our drill. 🙂 Thank you for the giveaway!
freda says
great blog great drill i want to win!
Jessica c says
I like the led light. I think it would come in handy for the under the stair get away for my son. My husband has been wanting to make a little play room for my five year old for sometime now.
I also like the fact it is light weight so my son could use it to help daddy out. It is a big project but I think this would help out a lot mainly because it has so many good features that my husband can use.
Thanks for posting this love the post and your beautiful home.
Brent S says
The LED light will make working on my cabinets easier – so I can see what I’m doing! Great drill.
Elizabeth says
I would love the drill as it would be mine and not my husbands…his is never charged and ready to go!

Hanna says
I love that this drill is super lightweight, and my new husband has been talking about how he wants one with a light on it. Even better is the fact that I can use it too!
Rita Cammin says
I love that is is both a drill and a driver. What would I do with it? All those things that I have wanted to do but couldn’t because I am not allowed to use HIS tools. Plus with the clutch feature, I wouldn’t have to worry about stripping screws which I am good at, using MY screwdriver.
Joanne says
I love that it’s lighter which would be perfect for me when I start my kitchen makeover. Yikes!
Melissa Griffiths says
How great! I would love to make a little side table for out living room! This would be perfect to get me going!

Thanks for the chance to win a cool drill! I’m most excited about the light feature–I HATE when I can’t see the mark I’ve made to drill. Although that means I won’t have an excuse for not being spot on any more….
We are currently doing a million “odd jobs” in the house to get it ready to sell. The new drill would come in VERY handy.
Can’t wait to see your pool reveal later this month!
Kimberly M. says
I love that it is lightweight, that it has an LED light and that it has a keyless chuck so changing the bits will be easier. I have a lot of projects in the upcoming future. I am converting my attic into a playroom for the grandchildren and I have shelves I built that I want to put in the family/game room. Both these tools would be awesome to have so I don’t have to borrow tools anymore from my son.
Sandra Bowe says
I like the light and the weight of the drill.
Crystal says
So I just finished a room makeover for our laundry room and have never realized until now how stinking heavy a drill can be!! Especially if you have to hold it at a weird angle for a long period of time! I would SO love to have a smaller drill for those awkward projects!
Among The Treasures- Becky B says
What a beautiful home! I love all of your typography prints. I am such a ‘word’ person. Thank you for telling me about this wonderful drill. As my vision and grip are affected, the lightweight drill with built-in light would be a godsend. I can keep doing DIY things around the house a little longer! Thank you for this opportunity!
Julie Moore says

My husbands drill battery died last night for good and a replacement isn’t made any more! I would like to win this for him! I love how tiny the battery packs are now and how light it is!

Oh my, such PERFECT timing! My husband’s much beloved drill (which he has had since before we started dating and got married) is obviously on its way out/dying and it is NOT content to go quietly into the night. Over the past few weeks it has taken on an obnoxious strangled cat/dying woodpecker? sound that I’m convinced is either a ploy for further sympathy at pending separation from my husband or possibly an attempt to draw the neighbors in hoping one of them will have sympathy and put “her” (I’m convinced hubby has a secret name for her) out of her misery since my husband does not have the heart to do so. In fact, in one last ditch attempt to save said drill he purchased some new brushes for her which resulted in a smell that permeated the walls because it nearly burned up what was left of the motor. At this my husband emerged from his workshop smelling like burnt flesh, admitted defeat and that we need to purchase a new drill. ****CUE moment of silence and hospice designation for current drill. 😉 We are in the middle of building a fireplace and surrounding cabinetry currently so funds are low and drills are not cheap. I would love to win so very much and surprise him with the most awesome gift of a new drill! He will adore how easy it is to use and I LOVE the fact that it is lighted and light/easier for me to manage than his existing heavyweight. Thanks so much for the chance to win and complete our fireplace/cabinetry plus other projects!

I love that it is lightweight! We always have projects at our house or one of our kids homes and we are finding that heavy tools limit our endurance. Our newest project is building a free neighborhood library box for our front yard. We are currently working on the design and reflects our love for funky things.

The light weight and the light. I love the idea of the light. I live in a little place with only one 1 window in the bedroom and the little balcony door. I need tools. I would love this drill to give me light to add light to my home and my life. This amazing tool would be the my right hand in creating my DIY home.

Love your new sconces!! I would use both the drill and the saw to build my very first set of floating shelves for my bathroom that is currently being redone. I’ve never made floating shelves before so I’m very excited! The bathroom is coming along well but I don’t have a drill and could desperately use one!! Thanks for the chance to win 🙂
