We just replaced our towel bar for hooks and I love how it looks!

While re-painting the master bath, we had determined that our old towel bar had to go {which was actually a good thing since we ended up having to saw it off the wall to get it off}.  It was too short for both of our towels and I felt like it was hung too low for our tall ceilings.  Before I broke out the paint rollers, I had the husband patch the holes.  We had opted to go for hooks instead of a towel rack because our towels previously weren’t drying well and there just wasn’t enough space.

The hooks we used are actually robe hooks from Lowe’s.  In the photos I just placed one towel per hook but in reality we plan to use two hooks a piece {laying one towel across two} in hopes that our towels will dry better in our humid environment.

I love how it turned out.  And its so nice to have my towel hanging by the shower again instead of on a doorknob, etc. in the interim until we got these hung.

Master Bathroom painted Light French Gray by Behr and towel hooks with brown and white towels on them.
If you look closely, you’ll notice that two of the towel hooks have a slight red tinge to them.  We had to buy the hooks from two different Lowe’s locations and although the numbers and packaging are identical, they are clearly from a different dye lot {if that’s possible with metal}.  I decided not to worry about it too much.  From far away you really can’t tell at all {and they will have towels hanging on them virtually all the time}.

We’ve come a long way since the ‘before’ photos in this post.

Dark brown master bathroom before the renovation.

It is still so amazing to me how bright it is in the room even with the lights off!  The spa like blue is very serene.

And a quick shout out to our two favorite moms!  We love you both very much and hope you have a wonderful day!

Isn’t it great having moms who love to help! I’m very blessed to have my mom and mother in law close by. I love the paint color you chose–it all looks beautiful! I’m stopping by from Inspire Me Please (My posts are #7 How To Repurpose a Frame and #9 Super Creamy Pancakes)
